I`m going to the dentist at 2pm to have 2 teeth removed and i`m really scared,i do`nt want to go heeelp me.Someone please tell me it will not hurt i`ve never had a tooth out before :(

We can't help you - we're just little people who live in your computer.

The dentist can help you - just be a man about it! :p

Oh, and good luck :) Hope it's not too painful.

Whilst you're on the chair, they'll probably do a few other checks. Such as checking the prostate with a finger up the rectum etc

 really my dentist is a very nice looking lady not sure about the finger up my bottom though.

It has to be done - and you'll benefit in the long run. Close your eyes when he mentions a needle and all you'll feel is a little *****.........on that note, I have some more advice:

edit: My further advice only applies to male dentists.

The worst thing about having a tooth pulled out is the amount of blood that spills out of your previously healthy gums, and the pain. Did I mention the blood?

A Mate of mine went to the dentist to have some teeth pulled (no wait this is a true story!!), when he was (strapped :D ) into the chair and fully annethatised(sp?), the dentist (who was female and VERY Hot!!! Nicely Built!! Mmmmmmmm) was just about to start rooting about in his mouth when she said,

"If this hurts just raise your hand and I'll stop!".

So she proceded to pull his teeth.

My Mate was squirming and fidgeting in the chair but not making a noise or raising his hand!, So She carried on.

When she finished she asked, "Now that wasn't bad was it?", My Mate after rinsing (etc.) turned to her and said "That Hurt Like ****ery!", "Why didn't you raise your hand?", "If I had I'd have Grabbed you Boobs!!" :D

If it was me I'd have used it as an excuse t cop a feel!!!.. :p

I'm off to the Dentist tonite (7:30pm) but just for a Clean n' Polish, which is all I ever get due to the, at the time 28 years ago, Experimental Enammel Coating put on my teeth!, that was only supposed to protect my Teeth for 15-20 years, but according to my (very depressed because of this) Dentist its still there and going strong!!... Thanks Mum!

I had a tooth out 2 weeks ago...

It doesn't hurt one bit, you're numb.

Later that evening, it hurts. You should get some painkillers and anti-infection drugs. My painkillers were strong. They sure kept the pain away, but kinda sent me to another planet half the time too. So, I tried to limit their use.

So, two weeks later it's all healing up well by the 'feel' of things. No real pain, unless I'm being stupid and bite onto something crunchy with my gum (obviously it's not tough enough yet), which will remind me via a nasty little shock.

Oh, and for a while when you feel for that missing tooth and just get a gum

... it feels really really freaky.

For christ sake man, Dentists are professionals, they're not out to hurt you. Getting teeth out is not sore in the slightest, you wont feel a thing.

About a year ago I had all my teeth removed (my gums were being replaced with a titanium alloy) and put back in, it took 10 minutes and I could eat a stake within the hour.

My lovely wife is a dentist, and she's really good. She butchers flowers and chops boys sent her way  and patients.

Fixed for truth.

;)

OP I'd leave the country and run far away.

Dats Gangsta, G. :p

I had some root work done recently and couldnt feel a thing after the local.

mind you,,,,, i lost over 5 pints of blood and they had to shock me back to life 4 times during the procedure ;)

You wont feel a thing if they get the injection spot on.

Be prepare for some really "crunchy" noises and a lot of extreeeeem pulling.

Oh i think you are already in there if it was a 2pm jobby..

UNLUCKY lol

speaking of dentists, when your in the chair , head back and their pocking around what do you look at ?

Do you look at the dentist or some random object in the room ?

Generally I just tend to fix around the light thing but remember once there was a hotish assistant with the water sucker thing and I kept winking at her which I don't think the dentist liked resulting in extra pain :p

Erm, can you give us more info on this enamel coating - if it has genuinely protected your teeth this long then its gotta be worth it and I might get it done to my teeth.
