The disappearance of Nicola Bulley

Am I not the only person that thinks that shes run off with someone else? It happens a lot and people just don't know what's going on in people's heads.

Seems more likely than the river at this point seeing as they’ve got a crack team and equipment supposedly working on it, hard to imagine her body being washed that far down a river, even according the divers there.

Agreed. If she "fell" into the river she'd have been found by now, I'm sure of it. I'm pretty sure the dog would have kicked off too, plus the phone has been very purposely left on the bench still connected to a work call. It's like she's just dropped everything and walked off leaving her life behind in some way.

Im no expert of course but it just seems that way to me considering all that I personally know.

Did she talk on the Teams call?

The timeline known so far is

8:53am she sent an email to her boss
9:01am she joined a teams call but she was muted/without video
9:10am another dog walker ran into her and exchanged a brief hi/bye
9:20am her phone was on the bench (location tracking confirms this I suppose)
9:30am the teams call ended but she was still connected
9:35am her phone and dog where found, she was no where to be seen.

for 10-15 minutes no one knows what happens.

Not quite. You complained that police hadn't cordoned and searched the area (they had). You complained they were focusing entirely on one theory (they weren't). You complained they had no evidence (they hadn't claimed to). You complained they instantly focused on her falling into the river (it was one week after she disappeared during which time various other lines of enquiry were explored).

The person jumping to conclusions without evidence here is you.
And all my thoughts, not conclusions, have the same amount of evidence as her falling in the river.

If you don't want to speculate about the case then why are you on a thread that is talking about it?

And yet surely the dog would follow her if she walked away or was dragged away? Unless it was tied up? It’s all so strange.

I think the dog would have wondered off regardless if it wasn't tied. I think we can assume that it was.

Not so strange in my books. She's unhappy, has been for a long while, she meets her dream guy (this can actually happen) and literally drops it all. Fella, kids, dog, phone, friends to be with someone else.

If she fell in the river, I'd have expected something to have been found after two days, with that expert search team there.

This case is bringing up a childhood memory from around '83, when we were living in Dolgellau for a few years. A ~9 year old lad in the year below me fell off a rope swing into the River Wnion and was found dead in the flooded estuary the next day.
