The disappearance of Nicola Bulley

This however, doesn't stop them from noticing something near the bank after letting the dog run free, and just as the dog is doing a run away from them, she puts down her phone and moves towards the bank. One bad step/sudden appearance of snake, etc and into the drink, dragged down by weighted clothes, etc. Dog would be none the wiser in that case.

Good luck finding an active wild snake outdoors in Lancashire in January.

Yes, well, you mention "wild", I just said "sudden appearance" (which doesn't have to be wild). Which is more of the shock appearance causing a stumble being potentially possible whilst still keeping in line with the stated known facts that I replied to.

Quite true, it doesnt stop that, I was only mentioning it in reference to a ball/toy. Theres a lot of things that are possible, its possible she fell in (just cant seem to locate the body), its possible that she committed suicide and jumped in (just cant seem to locate the body), its possible she did a runner and is somewhere, maybe with someone, and safe but doesnt want to be found, its possible that someone abducted her , possibly near the caravan park area and is either holding her or has killed her. Personally, I dont think we will ever find out what happened to her.

Unless somehow the body has got properly trapped on something on the riverbed, surely it would have been found by now?

I think they would have found the body by now if she was in the river. It's not a particularly deep or fast flowing river.

I think it most likely she has been taken.

Folks might appreciate this.
It is a walkaround of the whole scene/area.
Skip to around 07:30 for the start of the actual walk...
I think if that video proves anything, its how strong morbid curiosity is in humans, just look on that video at the group of people stood at "the" bench, all just a day or two ago and add to that the video creator who drove 20miles to go to the location and make the video.

It reminds me of that Star Trek episode where the crew are knocked out but some things when they wake up arent right and they go back to the planet they were investigating and the aliens capture them again and Picard says to them "for many humans a mystery is something which cannot be resisted"

Looking at the quality of that sonar footage today, it would have to not only be snagged on something but also buried under something, the clarity of that sonar footage was pretty high so if a body was just snagged on something it would still be very clearly visible. Would need to be buried under something to not be seen on it

27 pages of this thread says the same tombstone..
no one with an iota of connection to the missing woman all surmising what happened without a single lead or thread of evidence.
Like... find something more useful to do with your time.

And yes the irony of this post is not lost on me.. (I'm eating dinner) :-p

Funny how this woman has been missing for 2 weeks and the boyfriend has only just visited the crime scene for the first time today...

I mean, dont get me wrong, I find mysteries fascinating too, not fascinating enough to get in my car and drive 20 miles to the scene of a mystery to video it but then again I dont run a youtube channel to get hits for, but fascinating all the same. Though I tend to be more fascinated by "bigger" scale mysteries, like the Marie Celeste, the H blocks at Puma Punku, the Sphinx and Gobleki Tepe etc

To be fair, he's probably already been up and down the river grinding up corpses inside his mini-sub for the last 6 months anyway, there's probably the remains of 5000 missing woman on the bottom of that river.

Drowning is a surprisingly quiet death. Many kids drown each year without their parents noticing, even when they're within earshot.
I always remember something I heard an experienced lifeguard who'd done years on some extremely busy beaches say and I'm paraphrasing "it's not the noisy ones you pay attention to, it's the ones who suddenly go quiet".
