The disappearance of Nicola Bulley

During my time on LNG carriers I had the distinct “pleasure” of visiting the loading terminal at Soyo, Angola, which is in the mouth of the Congo. On one occasion, as we were preparing to leave with the crew fore & aft at their mooring stations, and tugs about to arrive, I remember hearing one of the Filipino AB’s call over the the radio “Uhhh, Captain, there is a deadman in the water”. And Lo and behold, there he was, some poor ******* face down in the river, being carried along with the current while a bird just nonchalantly pecks away at his back. We had a pilot onboard from the port authority and his reaction was to shrug and merely state “it happens”.

What is this complete babble?

It is a poor joke based on preposition and familiarity of a subject (the OP, missing women and 642 posts associated with it), triangulated with a forums poster (Roar87) who I am making gentle fun of based on essentially toilet humour (tug and variants thereof having more than one meaning).

You were less annoying when you were Beef Burger but I suppose Reality Bites in the end.

Otters - she saw an otter in the river. Went to have a closer look, tripped, banged her head, fell head first into the river.

Have you ever made anyone laugh with these sorts of jokes? I'm not sure how to put this but you aren't even close to being funny

I reckon you're not his intended audience. ;)

Who is? This is a thread about a woman who has gone missing, presumably murdered, and he's cracking literally the worst joke I've ever seen typed out. Most of his forum posts consist of him arrogantly and derisively critiquing other people's posts on any given subject while adding nothing to the thread himself.

I would watch this movie.

I imagine Roar and Magnolia in a police buddy movie. They are the one constant in each other's lives, with a foundation of love underlying their irreverent banter. One day the friction between them accidentally leads to the body of Nicola Bulley and all is revealed.
