The disappearance of Nicola Bulley

It's a reasonable question and one I asked earlier. All we know is that she was connected to the call. Given what she may have said could have been her last words it's a little odd that there are no details yet.
Pretty sure they said she was on speaker but muted as she didn't need to talk. Not sure if it was just at that time or whole call.

Or that was how the phone was found.

Makes you wonder why they didn't search up the river towards the sea at the very beginning.

Because bodies typically sink to the riverbed quite quickly, and don't move until at least a few days have passed. There was no point wasting time by looking in the wrong spot.

Another thing is that if they are going on a strong statement, she is the river (or now coast). They need to support that which is I'm assuming the Fitbit.

A Fitbit is a detachable device, it's not welded to someone , just like the mobile phone, someone could have kidnapped her, stripped off any tracking devices , threw the Fitbit in the river phone on the bench and took her away somewhere.

One of the leads is now on a red van

Interesting thing about the latest two photos is that the dog has a ball in both photos, yet we were told by friends and family that they never took a ball when walking the dog, so perhaps a touch of an exaggeration to say never.

If I recall it seems to have been suggested that she was on mute for the whole call, not out of the ordinary on a Teams call if your just listening.

Is that meant to mean something significant?
Local person has business that was registered at a local address? (presumably given they walked the dog near there, handy for their home/other things).

My local "fair" has what could be described as a "caravan park" where they winter (with all their equipment), and run several small seasonal businesses off the site, and I know of a few "caravan" sites that have units rented for business use because it's cheap if you just need a basic office space and postal address, same way something like a farm might have multiple businesses running off the site, if the site owner has empty space why not rent it out to small business.

I guess your right

There must be thousands of people thinking to themselves why were the police not so interested into looking for my daughter son mother father so keenly?
That's probably been answered in the OCUK thread about their missing daughter, son or mother though.

Does this sentence come with a decoder ring?

There's not always rhyme or reason why one story gets media traction and its not a conspiracy that others don't.

But tbh, the details of this story (the short timeframe of disappearance, the phone on a bench, the dog etc) make it more intriguing than someone going missing while out solo hiking.
