Probably as soon as a copy editor saw it, or someone with seniority saw what the printed layout looked like.
A lot of the papers got rid of many of the specialist editors they used to have and who had the very specific job of making sure the layout for the pages was both correct and suitable, it would have been their job to try and make sure that the headlines on a page didn't line up like this one did with a sensitive story.

It's the sort of thing that shouldn't have happened, and a couple of decades ago would likely have gotten someone in trouble with main editor or owner of the paper for allowing it.

Sounds like a gloat more then anything.. You think that right OCUK same person calling people sheep when he got offended he cried to mods and i got called out and banned by one of your mods and now he doing the exact same on this topic. I actually said if you wanted to go down that route of calling me names i will call you sheep but people only saw the word sheep and brain washed but i was just mearly saying i could.. But he out right calling every one a sheep now when it suites. Not going to take it further as i no what i would get back. His end goal was to make someone banned and it just happened to be me and you fell for it and it same with a couple of others on here and now they will target the next person if there opinion is different to there's.

Maybe if your views and comments did not go against the rules, you wouldn't of been thread banned.
This got nothing to do with me, but thanks for hunting me down, living rent free in your mind is nice.
Maybe try moving on with your life rather than getting salty over an internet forum.
 
I don't know how Lancashire police come to the conclusion so early on that falling in the river was the main theory. It is one theory. But they deliberately said there was no way in and out of that area that wouldn't have been picked up by cctv cameras.

Now we know that the route Nicola takes regularly, in and out, isn't covered by cctv. So if Nicola as just walked off the chances are she'd go back out that way. Or if someone as taken her after falling her he would have come in and out that way too.

They have totally messed this investigation up. Then the icing on the cake was they released her private information, which at this stage didn't add anything to the investigation. If she is alive and can see that private information about her, its not going to encourage her to come back.


Lancashire Police is set to conduct an internal review into the Nicola Bulley investigation, the force has confirmed.

The force confirmed a date had been set for the review, which will be conducted by their Head of Crime, Detective Chief Superintendent Pauline Stables.

In a statement, a spokeswoman said: “A review of the investigation is diarised and will be conducted by our Head of Crime Detective Chief Superintendent Pauline Stables."

You're just repeating stuff thats been covered over and over.

If she left why didn't the dog follow etc etc

The police released the info with the family's permission as someone was going to sell a story to the papers about her drinking etc etc
 
This is the first proper look of the bench and river that I've seen. It does seem quite a steep river bank and nothing much to claw on to if you fell down it.

It is difficult to put into words just how much I despise that rag and any "journalists" that work for it doing such work. It is a stain on society and a poison to our society. It and they destroy lives for £

In Ulrika Johnson’s column in todays Sun she complains about the police releasing the info - maybe needs to have a word with her bosses..
