Nope, not afaik.
That seems fair!

Can't say the videos are getting me hyped at all, just looks more of the same but in a worse setting...... Doesn't look to have the same atmosphere as TD 1, that feeling when a snowstorm would kick in
Hopefully we'll have the same amount of fun we had when first playing the division 1, despite all the issues it had.
Thats what I wanted from Division 2. More of the same but in a different setting. I said so many times while playing Division 1 that they could make a whole series of this, its almost unlimited, they could set one in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, London , Rome, Moscow, Tokyo and so on. I quite like the choice of Washington because its so open compared to the claustrophobic New York setting so it works well as a different feel. If they make a 3rd one I'd choose Las Vegas or maybe California (San Francisco/Los Angeles).
Can't put my finger on it, just looks gash to me and I LOVED TD1.
Took me a while to realise... It's atmosphere. Everything they've been harping on about with the Division 2 upcoming release is ALL about gameplay, PVP, changes to skills/armour etc etc.
The first one did a little of this, but it's main selling point was the environment, a desolate New York drenched in snow with fog soaked streets. This one, all gameplay videos look roughly the same in terms of terrain and environment. Just doesn't feel right... Hopefully I'm wrong?

You've nailed it. The atmosphere is what kept me playing TD1, nothing beats that setting for me, nothing. Everything looked and felt so right, when the heavy snow fell with the ambience of the world around you, nothing has given me those true winter feels in gaming before. Ive seen the TD2 world done to death over decades, I couldn't care less about PvP either. There are bigger and better games to get a PvP hard on over.
Couldn't agree more - LOVED the setting in TD1 and I've got no interest in PVP - all I want is a nice long PVE mode that you can solo if you want or team up and go co-op!

Yeah I'd love something along the lines of City of Heroes PVE wise - maybe not the full on MMO type experience but just the way the content was done so you can replay so much of it without getting bored, etc. in TD1 right now there is very little reason to even bother hitting the streets, etc. other than occasionally for high value targets, etc. if you are really bored but for some reason don't want to turn off the game.
Doesn't necessarily have to be a nice long PVE mode but some kind of "living" PVE mode.
All videos is basically from few hours gameplay in same area,so..Besides,lots of things still under NDA.
Cant say anything about LZ,but all 3 DZ "maps" are quite different. One is kinda jungle, other has long straight streets, and the last is kinda QQC kinda.
There is atmostphere, different from NY since its not winter, and i really like that feeling.People need to stop comparing Div 1 and 2 atmospheres,2 different games in 2 different settings.
People really should stop expect Div 2 to be to similar to Div 1.There are enough similarities.

People wonder why Devs throw out crappy dlc and add ons, look no further than this guy.
In days of yore games would come with all the locations included.
When PR campaign was launched for Div 1,nobody really talked about SP campaign either,Demos/Betas was all about DZ as well.
Campaign in Div 2 will be ~40h,which you probably can drag much longer with all sides, findings etc. They didnt even talked properly about PvE tbh.Still some time to go till release,so they dont showing all cards i guess, simple PR campaign like most companies do nowadays.
I'd disagree and say it sounds like they've listened to the complaints from a lot of the "normal" players and made adjustments. Normalization in DZ with periodic Iron Banner style unrestricted, update rouge system, clean DZ drops, etc.
Div 1 suffered because the DZ was pretty hardcore and for a long time it was the *only* place to get the top teir loot. These days there are a ton of ways to get good gear without being forced into PVP. I hope they carry over incursions, legendry missions, resistance/underground/survival. Even if just a little at launch.
