The Division 2 - March 2019

@labbby that isn't 100% confirmed I don't think, I think you will need to opt in to voip.

Im still on the fence, the movement looks clunky and disconnected but will see in the beta and again, majority of footage has been console or with a controller so will need to actually play it.

Perk systems seem cool, clan perk systems are interesting but I would be more focused on a smaller clan who do all content, challenges, learning the raids and all mechanics, speedruns and so on other than a larger clan where that sorta type of player group still exists but is maybe over populated with people who don't fall into that group. That's just my idea of fun though. But then, we haven't seen the in game LFG/Clan system properly yet and visibility over clan contribution hasn't been talked about at all.

Iuno, my thoughts are all over the place with it - stuff looks interesting but will need to actually see it and feel it before committing to a purchase, and this is from someone who thousands of hours in div 1.

Edit: Just bring back survival - that will do it for me :p

So now I can't kill another player in the DZ then hear him tell me how he was courting my Mother the evening before ?

Yeah I know what you mean about the controls. Like you, I hope it’s just down to it being played on console/early build.

I really hope it’s good. I need a new game to sink my teeth into..

Only thing i'm not too happy with is the fact its reported that they are going to neutralise 2/3 of the Dark Zones. To me this takes away the incentive to go grind good gear if in the end it doesn't even matter. Hopefully this isn't something they keep and hopefully remove.

The DZ's are normalised not neuralised, still pvp enabled but with power spikes a little more smoothed out. There is always 1 DZ that will be in occupied mode and I think that will be great since that's where all the top geared pvp will happen.

I often found the DZ didn't hit the mark. Either the zone was full of perfectly optimised pvp groups who would wreck anyone who hadn't put 1000's of hours into grinding the god roll gear, or it was full of poorly geared casuals who were just trying to hit some daily/weekly challenges.

I hope the new format fixes this. For hardcore pvp go occupied zone, for a more casual pvp/pve mix go to the other 2.

Tempted by this too, i presume we've only got less than a week to pre-order to get access to the beta.

Does anyone know if beta progress continues onto the main game as well?
