The Division 2 - March 2019

Could only get 2hr 16min in, that was enough to do the hotel mission and get back to the theatre.

I like it...the overgrown feel to the city, the atmosphere and general gameplay. Only had the one Delta and no bugs that I noticed.

The only thing I didn't really like was the constant spamming of invites from other players, must be a way of turning that off or tweaking it to friends only?

I was on the fence for TD2, thought they should have finished the story in TD1 before fast-forwarding us to this point, so haven't got on the hype train. Now, I'm starting to lean toward a day-1 buy....maybe even the dreaded...pre-order...

Cheers

You can turn it off by bringing up the map and going to the SHD tab and then disabling On Call.

Unfortunately every time you load the game it is reenabled again.

It was funny but a bit annoying - I actually kind of like the feature - the concept gives a bit of atmosphere - but it needs more work so as not to be bothersome.

Had a quick run through at lunch, quite enjoyable so far.

I did run into one glitch i think when i came off of one of those fixed turret guns, i was suddenly holding an invisible weapon, it still fired and had the crosshairs etc.

Getting a lot of delta errors now. Was stable until last few minutes.

Can consistently shoot grenades out the air before they land on you as well which is nice.

Had a very brief go now but getting a very strange issue. On certain sounds, either gun shots or perhaps just on hits my game stutters down to 4 FPS with the audio stuttering too.....then recovers shortly after that but makes gun fights basically impossible.

Wonder if it's something to do with the Corsair CUE link as it's tied to certain sounds

So I can access the forum but not the private beta forum which is where the bug reports are...there's a thread of people with that same issue however I can't reply to it :) I'm thinking their systems are taking a small beating at the moment

I like it, shame only i got the beta invite and not my wife - as be both loved TD1.

I only dabbled in it as i was getting the death stare, Lol.

Seeing quite a few people having severe performance degradation with Windows 10 and I'm guessing DX12 - performance wise it is very responsive for me at 1440p with a GTX1070 and most settings between high and ultra.

Happy with the performance here, 4770k 980ti etc. Much more polished than the alpha.

Is it just me or does your character run at a slower pace?

dunno if its already been mentioned but asus users running aura might get access denied upon launch.

EAC doesnt like RGB so you have to disable lightingservice.exe in the task manager

Make sure you have sprint set to hold or toggle appropriately as I found it somehow got reset randomly after the first couple of minutes and wondered why I wasn't moving properly.

The character movement has a slightly heavier feel with a little longer transition from walk to run and vice versa which can make it feel a bit slower but I don't think it is that much slower than TD1.

Seeing so many bugs from early td1 however.

Conversely I've not encountered any significant bugs so far and I'm usually the first to encounter them LOL - even the missions have worked properly for me that people are complaining about.
