The Division 2 - March 2019

I guess what's probably driven a lot of people away, and i only noticed when logging in is that all the gear stats have changed again. I remember spending quite a bit of time doing reruns for specific gear items with better stats (DtE/CHC/CHD) and it looks like that's all changed again.

grinding is a part of every looter shooter .. but I feel like there isn't enough of a variety in Div2... builds are very limited..
I mostly enjoy running full red build but I experimented with skill builds etc (even finished a legendary missions with my mates all playing skill builds).
It seems like such a waste of potential... gunplay is excellent and the graphics are beautiful. Devs just don't know how to use this potential

sacriface is fine if you have a good blinder with you... otherwise its a nightmare.. i finished all the legendary strongholds many times.
I basically did everything you can in div2.. my clans best time in first raid was 15:55m and second raid was 51min... but we stopped grinding for the second one as we all got bored with the game..

I am in some random clan (ass removed from OCUK due to not playing a lot before WONY was released)

Was made clan leader due to no one else being on for 90 days and everyone has now left!.

Hunters do my head in. Especially the one in that swimming pool where you have to do star jumps. No matter what I do, I star jump, he appears and then just instakills me in one shot before I even know where he is. Happens with a high-DPS build and a high-armour build, can't even get a shot off before I'm dead. And the one at the monument where you salute just isn't bothered, he appears and the moment the first shot hits him he disappears. And if there are any enemies nearby, he doesn't even bother to appear.

If you ever need a hand (unsure how useful I would be!) drop me a message on the Uplay chat

Also, Does anyone have any tips for Gsync and the Division 2?

I have had this monitor (Dell S2721DGF) since the 10th of October but as this is my fist Gsync monitor I am unsure how to get the best from it.

My PC specs are as follows

I7 9700K with no OC and ran at stock speeds
16GB 3200mhz ram
Palit JetStream 2070S

The monitor is connected via Display port and NV CP is set to the following.

Gsync - Enbaled for full screen programs.
Vsync is off

Dvision 2 settings are

Vsync off
frame rate cap off
165hz refresh rate.

I am finding that with my current settings that the game loads and I can look around without any issues but when walking or running with buildings rooms etc passing by its stutters all the time but unsure if this is down to how the monitor is setup.

The monitor is currently set to Standard for preset modes with AMD Freesync enabled and response time as fast

No issues here with my screen running Gsync with Div 2. Butter smooth.

Screen on extended FreeSync, NV control panel - Gsync enabled for full screen.

In game V sync off custom frame rate limit set to 120.

Try setting the frame rate limit. Indoors will be super high frame rates which could be the issue.

Cheers for the tips, ran through the website and this ahs sorted the issues.

Exactly what pushed me away from the game
You could almost guarantee that no sooner than you made a build or got a good rolled item they'd turn everything on its head

Man. Just surprised myself by crafting a 2x max roll FAMAS AR with Strained. I normally run my DPS build with a godrolled G36 AR that hits hard but this FAMAS is basically an LMG with a 30 round ammo count! It chews up heroic elites with two clips! I really need to farm targetted AR's more!

Why complicate **** even further? Why not just let us use the in-game E-Credits that we stockpile but have nowhere to spend?
its so top end players cannot just go and max out their gear so new currency and mats make you play the game.

  • Item-Type Deconstruction Materials – these materials are gained from deconstructing other gear of the same type. Only high-end, Exotic, and Gear Set items will give this material.

  • Control Point/Landmark Materials – you can earn these from completing Control Points in the LZ, Landmarks in the DZ (they will always be uncontaminated), and the higher floors of The Summit. The amount yielded per activity scales directly with game difficulty.

  • Faction Materials – these can be found from enemies of the various factions. The amount of this material that drops also scales directly with difficulty.

  • Project Materials – these are materials gained from completing Daily and Weekly projects (PvE and PvP). Weekly Projects will give substantially more materials than Daily Projects.

I'm surprised you've just discovered Famas. Famas has always been my go to since I got one which was quite crappy at the time when I was about 50shd. The burst damage is fantastic on it. Good rolls are quite hard to find on them.

Though Famas doesn't benefit from strained. The rpm is too fast. Strained shines more on guns 700rpm and lower.

Optimist or Ranger shines with Famas. Or Measured.

Famas is so good breaking down the armour on the dogs and chungas.
