The missus and I preordered (she got the ultimate edition as she likes it so much) so will still play on release, I hope its changed though because it was once I reached the end of Destiny that I lost the urge to bother collecting the high end gear as I didn't see the point if I could only equip one anyway so I'm hoping that I don't find myself losing that same urge in Division 2 for the same reason.

I don't really see the point of the restriction at all, in any game. Just seems like a punishment for those who invest time to collect gear.

The concern for me is that with you only being able to equip 1 top tier loot, that the drop rates are going to be incredibly stingy to make them stupid rare so that finding one is the challenge instead of grinding to get improvements and I find that approach in looter games to be an instant turn off compared to the showering of loot you get in games in like Diablo 3, I'd rather have the illusion of reward even if the rewards are totally useless 90% of the time than spending 90% of my time getting nothing only to get something 10% of the time

Absolutely agree, the endgame content is looking great. My bug bear is purely that if I get an exotic sniper rifle and an exotic submachine gun, I should be able to have both equipped, otherwise I am simply being forced to use a weapon that's weaker than one I already own for no real reason.

But yes, the content and year 1 coming content looks brilliant

im not sure theyre going to be dropped loot, the info says "Acquiring exotics will require completing specific tasks, progressively discovered by agents as they take back Washington DC"

also theyre upgradeable

Very much a problem... Though I'm saying this knowing it will probably take me months to even complete the campaign with the little time I get to play :p
 
saw that trailer the other day and all i could think while watching was that it didnt look like that graphically when i played the beta..

fingers crossed that it looks as good if not better than TD1 and runs as smooth for me

Same here, enjoyed the few hours I had with the beta and run pretty sweet on my system.

Hope they've sorted the sound issues out. I was losing sound often, Started off with just the gun sounds then the rest would disappear.

Had it free with my GPU. Can't wait.
 
I had an email that states: You will be able to pre-download your game on the 28.02.2019 on Uplay to play immediately at midnight on 12.03.2019!

Cant see a DL option in uplay tho?
