The Division 2 - March 2019

Anyone with an AMD reward code got any ideas when codes get released? With the number that was sold on the members market, there must be quite a few of us in the same boat.

Usually about 4-6 hours after the release, which is what happened for both RE2 and DMC5 codes on the same rewards programme

I googled uplay discount codes and ubisoft discount codes, I have been searching for just over an hour trying to find were i got before.....

Oh man I appreciate it but no need to spend all that time trying to help :)

Try here, its not how I did it but Ive no uplay launcher here to go through the steps on

https://support.ubi.com/en-GB/Faqs/000025124/Getting-a-Ubisoft-Store-discount

In the uplay app, go to the pre-order page, click the "Get 20% discount with 100U" top right under user info, that takes you to a website where you login and they email you a discount key. You use the key after you click pre-order in the uplay app in the promo box i think, it worked for me but i have had problem with the website part, have to use internet explorer, the old one!

Thank, I've clicked the links and tried via uplay app installed on my desktop and both are giving me the error "An error has occurred, please try again later." when I tick to agree to the terms and conditions and press the Yes button.

I submitted a message to UbiSupport on Twitter who said it can't be used against pre-orders but you guys clearly show it can, the problem I'm having is I'm not even able to generate a code despite having 346 uplay points :(

Lethal, it gives me the same error and ubi said they are aware of it and working to fix it but otherwise will not give a matching discount anything else. Kind of put me off using uplay so just going to use cdkeys.

I really enjoyed the beta but I wasn't going to get this due to the price.
However, since i wanted dmc5 and re2, buying the amd codes brought the price down to £15 a game. I expect I'll get stung with dlc later anyway if the game is worth it.

Roll on release day.

Yup, it absolutely can be used on preorders, its only the US who cant use it for preorders.

The ubi code error has now been fixed and is generating new codes again!

Just got my copy of Division 2 + Preorder Bonus + a free copy of Ghost Recon Wildlands for £40

Quite pleased with that.

Ghost Recon Wildlands is a very good game, the best of the three, the fallen ghosts dlc is also good. I got far cry primal as i had the other two.

I ordered my copy from CDkeys this morning!. so just waiting for the key which I am guessing you get nearer release.

from the product page, about a day before release:

If you’ve pre-ordered a game, your key will be delivered to your email a day before the official (or early access) release date. You will also receive a notification via email when your key becomes available.

ps, info regarding third party stores AFTER launch: https://www.pcgamer.com/the-division-2-wont-be-available-from-third-party-stores-after-launch

Talking about easier - dunno if they've massaged the AI in TD1 to try and appeal to a new influx of players (probably not) or they've just rebooted the servers and it is running better or something but a group of us were destroying the content in TD1 last night - Madison legendary we just face tanked the last boss group (normally a huge pain) right where they come out the door and killed them the fastest I've seen yet then did Warrengate and I cleared out around half of it (upto the timed section) on my own with ease while the rest were mostly AFK and the medics in the boss group at the end just melted without even needing tac link.

you can face tank elites now in TD2 with light machine gun and healing drone. With the enemy count nerf as well it works. May not have worked on private beta as there was swarms of enemies around you which probably would be enough to outdo the healing from the drone.

I think the game should have been made easier from private beta, but only by a small amount, it didnt need this kind of nerf. I am guessing they didnt want to test individual small baby steps of nerfing so the just did large changes and thought it will do. There was a definite adrenaline whilst taking 15 mins to clear an area with 10+ enemies shooting at you, now there is 3 or so enemies you can clear in a minute or so and move on.

All I would have done is made the AI less intelligent, nerfed the radio cars, grenades, stop AI spawning in your back whilst they also in front of you (that was just cheap and lame) and probably left it at that.

I am also guessing post launch we will keep seeing large balance changes as well, they wont be able to leave the balance alone, something I hate about "games as a service models" it will get to the point that the game is not the same in a years time as it was at launch.

Also uplay says 12 march release yet AMD says 15 march, AMD going to give me my key late?

I don't think this is a fault of the game TBH - possibly a Windows 10 or DX12 issue of some sort. It plays pretty much flawlessly performance wise on my older i7 4820K and GTX1070 - albeit I can't quite hit ultra settings and hold 60 fps at 1440p but a mixture of high and ultra is possible. My setup is only mildly overclocked.

EDIT: One thing I haven't tested for is how much difference RAM bandwidth makes with the game - generally it doesn't make much odds but I've noticed 1-2 games where the fairly high quad channel bandwidth on my 4820K lets me play at settings other people struggle with on ostensibly faster dual channel consumer CPUs.

I guess it is.

As I have a 1080ti, and I cant ultra everything at 1440p, i had to turn fog down to maintain 60fps, yet your gpu is significantly weaker than mine. I was deffo been gpu bottlenecked not cpu.

Seen quite a few complaints on the Ubi forums from people with quite a bit better spec than me but I've not really had any issues at all performance wise.
