Is there a DZ in this one? DZ in the first game is what killed it for me.
Of course, it was one of the best parts about the game for a lot of people.
i dont get it, why would that kill it for you? the DZ is only a small part of the game
and apart from a few assignments you dont even need to go there unless you want to
Because when the game first started, it was the best place to get decent gear. Unfortunately I hate PvP, especially gear-loss PvP.

Is ghost recon actually alright? Had all the signs to be a good game but was so underwhelmed when it first came out. Sorry don’t want to derail the thread.
As for division, felt very meh when I played the beta, although I didn’t play for long, got to the first proper mission and it just felt the same. Same AI mechanics etc. Although I still find myself hovering over the pre order button to give it a proper go, and besides I need some practice on fps on the pc.

There is, its not quite as bad as the first game, like they will try to keep groups together in one DZ, and solos in another, but people can still go rogue without agreement of all parties.
The issue is some of us dont want PVP, especially unenjoyable PVP where a group of 8 year olds jumps on a solo.
A PvE DZ would be awesome.
Wouldnt a PvE DZ just be the same as a normal zone?
No based on what I have read how DZ's work.
ah thats fair enough, i think the game was out for about a year before i picked it up.. but yeah if the DZ was the only place to get the good stuff then i wouldnt like it either..
there was DZ-only weapon drops when i started which i didnt like but thankfully thats changed now
my point was that you dont have to go to the DZ if you dont want to, the rest of the game is still worth playing and a few PVP areas shouldnt put you off the whole game
what they should do is make it so you can only kill other rogues, so if you want PVP you have to go rogue and then can only kill other rogues
either that or dont make assignments/challenges that require you to go into PVP areas
I cant see a whole lot of difference really between a DZ with only PvE and a normal PvE zone but maybe its just the way I am looking at it

I am ok with that also, unannounced rogue vs rogue.
