The Division 2 - March 2019

Used the VPN trick last night and played for about 3 hours. It must just be me as the game ran very well, no crashes and I did not notice any bugs. The turret worked fine.

I did the same and played for a good hour or so. Had no issues at all with crashes or glitches, maybe this is because I'm running my pc at stock everything so no pc on cpu or gpu either.

Only thing I have enabled in the bios is xmp to get my ram running at 1600mhz

wow if you think the nerf was bad on the turret in the open beta, in the final game its really bad. It literally lasts 2-3 seconds before lost.

I assume there has to be a way to power it up else its useless.

Ton of bugs that werent in the beta.

I think the turrent issue is now a bug, basically if you deploy it even if not attacked it will 90% of time just despawn, can see the counter start to move down slowly then it just goes poof, it seems to happen if its idle, so you get the enemies aggro'd first so it shoots right away you get some use out of it, but the moment it stops shooting it will probably despawn.

Picking up items as junk doesnt mark them as junk.

I had an elite enemy just despawn. He wasnt dead.

Game is a buggy mess, private beta to open beta to final game gradual worsening of the game.

I'll have to time mine, but the few times i deployed it, it lasted a good amount of time and dealt out a good amount of damage.

Three bugs i've encountered:
- When selling gear, lower scores sometimes appear in green (to indicate it's better than your currently equipped gear, even though it isn't), i find if you click to the next gear it does change the gear score to red correctly.
- I was taking over one of the early checkpoints, and despite killing all enemies and the final elite, it still didn't show checkpoint as claimed, had to wait around for a good few minutes before it eventually awarded me.
- During i think the fourth mission, a good way through my game suddenly froze. No CTD or anything, just abruptly froze and never recovered.

Oh dear that doesn't sound good! Thing is with these promotions they're normally advertised as "whilst stocks last", and going by some of the promotions from OCUK about buying the AMD cards and getting free games to sell on, sounds like it wasn't quite a guarantee! You're going to end up with some pretty miffed people if they've purchased a key of someone else and that can no longer be fulfilled due to running out of keys.

that would be ME i got 2700x on lunch day and picked up Key to play division as an actual AMD user...

Yeah there's an AMD thread on reddit with seemingly quite a number of users who haven't received keys. Even worse is that some of these haven't received keys for DMC/RE5 which iirc were out weeks ago, pretty shocking tbh!

That is really bad, they know when the keys they have run out so remove the promotion. People are swayed towards hardware with game giveaways as it helps with cost vs buying hardware and a new game. Not good at all if these are true.

Managed to get on for an hour last night. It's so much nicer to play with a keyboard and mouse (played the first game on console).

On the most part it runs amazingly well on ultra with my vega 64 but there are points where I can feel the framerate drop (reminds me of playing on a console) so I may knock a few settings down a notch. Any suggestions on which ones will improve it the most?

I wouldn't jump to conclusions yet that community manager is a bit of a numpty and walked backed his comments a few hours later saying that the team are still working through key allocations.

It seems like it's the first come first served with keys so if you brought your hardware when the promotion first started you are more likely to get keys first compared to people who have brought them in the last week or two.

Kinda glad I didn't buy a key off the mm now and went to cd keys as it's a pain for the buyer of the key and the original buyer of the hardware as the seller can't do anything about it as waiting on AMD

This has probably already been answered, but if someone could help out it would be appreciated. If I'm not bothered about early unlocks and cosmetic items, is there any point in purchasing anything other than the standard edition of this game? I.e. will the standard edition get all the same content for the same amount of time?
