The Division 2 - March 2019

M key just brings up the map, what should I be looking for on it.

Another question and I am sure i had a similar problem finding my way around the inventory system in Division 1 but I have just been told that I have a mod available for one of my weapons and pressing F will show me what mod I have yet I can find nothing and I have looked in all my three weapons.
Where am I going wrong here?

Is the new mod actually compatible with any of your weapons? I also found fitting mods a bit confusing, I open the weapon, double click the slot to see if anything is available.

Everyone got up to date gpu drivers? I know I'm not on the latest AMD drivers
I was getting loads of crashes in alpha, closed beta and open beta consistently after about 5 minutes play when on DX12 with Ryzen 1600 and a MSI 390 but no crashes on DX11. Played about 6 hours of TD2 full release on DX11 with no crashes then downloaded and installed latest drivers for the GFX card. Changed TD2 to DX 12 and no crash so far after about another 6 hours play.

Should be fun to see what mine runs like tonight.

I am currently running a 390 as well but don't tend to update drivers unless I run in to issues or clean os re install.

Correct M brings up the map, you'll see an icon somewhere on the map to show the location of the player requesting help.

I would guess that the mod you have unlocked is not suitable for the weapon you're trying to mod. Mods work very differently on Div2 compared to Div1, you no longer need to equip 'unique' mods, instead once you've unlocked/crafted them, you just apply them to as many weapons as you wish. You can sell those weapons without needing to remove the mods as you don't lose the mod ability.

Installed this last and wow I did not stop playing for a good few hours! Really enjoying it so far, looking forward to the end game content even more now!

Defo have to group up for some dark zone stuff when max level!

Sort of figured out the helping a guy out but all he seemed to do was run about like a headless chicken on the enemy control point, I went back later and did it on my own as I spotted a couple of sneaky ways in.

The mod I Have not figured out.
I keep finding rifles rather than decent machine guns.
I discovered I could fast travel which was news to me.
Could do with some stealth in this game.
Is blue good when it comes to gear?

Also keep an eye on what gear you equip, if you look at your gear you will see that certain items are part of sets and give additional bonuses. And adding mods to those improve the stats further, this becomes even more important as you move to end game content. In terms of gear it's White > Green(Uncommon) > Blue (Rare) > Purple (epic) > Brown/Yellow, or at least it was in Div1, so imagine it follow the same pattern in Div2. Still only lv15, so still replacing gear as I level up.

I wouldn't worry too much about the mods to start with, you'll unlock more as the game goes on.

In terms of ranking, it goes green - blue - purple - gold - (then possibly orange/turquoise - assuming similar end game weapons as Div1).

The ranking of weapons you get typically depends on your level. Obviously starting off with all greens, as you start to get to level 10 blues become more frequent, then i'd say upto 20 purples, and upto 30 golds. You can get them earlier on, it's more a case of frequency. At level 30 i tend to only see purples and golds, very rarely blues.

Yep you can fast travel to safe houses, control points that you own, and settlements, there may be others too.

Unfortunately gun drops are random, but there are some activities where you can pick up a lot of loot, so worth cycling through those.

Talking of control points, once you have liberated one dont forget to go back to each control point each day, because the supply rooms at each point respawn every 24 hours.

I found something in the sewers the other day!

Anyone else finding the lighting effects make it very hard to see at times? Especially at night or transitioning between light/dark areas, if there is then a storm as well I basically can't see anyone.
