I have had no crashes that werent gpu related, when I first tried my highest power profile I remembered it wasnt tested etc. and of course wasnt stable, I then found my 2nd highest power profile was not quite stable, and it needed a voltage bump, now its not crashing, but I am getting occasional weird performance drop off's which I posted about in a PSU thread.
The game itself seems stable for me. It has bugs but I am not getting game crashes caused by the game itself. I am playing on DX11 tho as I am on Win 8.1.
Also the GPU crashes didnt even crash the game I just had a forced driver restart.
On the subject of the skills, is ironic that the 2 skills in the beta seem to be the best ones for me.
I have tried the following so far.
Defensive
Auto revive hive - it is kinda cool when it works, I feel it will have a use if they implement 4 skills equipped feature, but with only 2 slots, I feel its better to not die in the first place then worry about auto revive, the downsides of the hive is you have to be in range of it when dieing, it only restores a small amount of armour so you still critical when revived unless you got armour packs or auto armour regen type skills, the reality is tho most time its used it wont be needed so essentially a waste on a 2 skill system
Chemical launcher healing, this affects an area so it probably beats the drone for groups, it also recovers some ammo apparently (didnt check this), the regen seems more rapid than the drone, but it requires more input (concentration to use), and wears off quickly, e.g. if you have 10% armour left it isnt capable of fully recharging you. Same flaw as hive, if you move out of range such as evading grenades you lose the perks.
Healing drone - quick to deploy single press of skill key, it follows you around, its a decoy target for enemies to shoot at, it lasts a while and it can fully recharge you probably 4-5 times over given how long it lasts. It is slower to recharge than chemical launcher tho but not that slow. If you consider the animation time to use a armour pack which renders you vulnerable, by the time a armour pack has you healed a drone porbably is still 60-70% healed in that time and you can do stuff whilst deploying it.
Shield's - Just purchased the half shield the one that allows you to use all weapons, I expect this is potentially a game changer seems potentially very useful but yet to try it out.
Drone shield - seems very poor, you can only take a few shots before its worn out.
Offensive.
Flame turret - pretty powerful wears down enemy HP very fast, if next to you would also be awesome against rushers, however its flaw is its limited range as well as its not 360 degrees (used to be but got nerfed).
Gun turret - pretty damn awesome, very good decoy, good range, good damage, I have seen it take care of elites as well. Now skills are fixed I see its almost as powerful as it was in the private beta.
Homing drone - is ok but its main usefulness is to basically force the targeted enemy to stop flanking you or to get out if his hiding spot, the damage output is poor.
Chemical poison - unlocked but not yet tried.
For single player the beta combo of healing drone and gun turret still seems the best.
