Probably down to servers being more loaded than the closed beta.

I notice this with bf 4 etc. when my connection is pap, the game just doesn't feel right and even the fps can dip.

Bear with it. They are probably using the Open Beta to test server load so yoiu may get the odd crash I think.

The Closed Beta was faultless but thats probably because they restricted the numbers. Open Beta should give them info to go on to prevent crashes

Must admit this game plays pretty good but the graphics are pretty lack luster ... playing on low @ 1024x764 really doesn't cut it ! Lol ! Wtb gpu upgrade (gtx580 sli)

I'm managing to play on a mix of medium/high with a few things low or off and getting quite good frames now,,,anything between 45fps and 63fps

Game looks great to me and I have reduced a few settings, screenshots don't show of how good the lighting, particle etc. effects are either:

Considering the scale of the game and how much there is going on, it is pretty impressive imo.

Make sure you reduce the brightness too, 50% is far too high, use between 20-35%

Single 680 seems to hold out well on high settings (32-46 FPS @ 2560x1080), just trying SLI now with the xxx.91 drivers.

Well, SLI is horrific but was fine on earlier drivers, (15-50 FPS @ 2560x1080) same zone.

Anyone else running a Fury X (or other Fiji) or any other card actually and getting choppiness? Like it'll be a smooth 50-80 then you turn or RMB or load the map or ANYTHING and the framerate plummets below 30 temporarily then back up.. It's making the game feel horrible - it doesn't happen every time you do anything, but enough to be a pain in the ass :/ Changing from High to med to low does nothing to stop it either :/
It's loaded on an SSD too - so I would have thought it's not a loading issue, although it feels like one.... ideas?

Yup the game is choppy, not as smooth as the closed beta.

Want to try and get some better gear before entering the dark zone tonight, iirc, I have 5 blue gear items and only 1 blue weapon (pistol)

I was getting MASSIVE frame drops at first,,,dosnt seem so bad now "fingers crossed" and I'm getting between 45fps to 63fps on mixture of medium/high settings,,,make sure vsync is turned off as that seemed to help me a tad
