Seriously though, the voice messages/reports/echos actualy fill in gaps in the story. If I'd known that earlier on I'd have probably tried to do them as I went.

ahh coolio. yea I quite like the phone messages, they actually really add a 'personal' feel to the game - almost a bit of reality - if you get what I mean. the others though not so much. I may decide to collect all the phone messages at some point when I grow weary of the grind
 
I know it's late on a Saturday evening - but anyone fancy hauling my a$$ through FL on hard? I can't cope with trying it with randoms anymore. I ain't a clue what to do and end up ganked within about 3-4 waves!

Gah, just did the incursion for the first time this week and no 214 piece dropped :confused:

Only done it twice and it really is boring ... Really bad design, why would I want to spend my evenings hiding in a trench?

I really like the game, just wish it was better :( roll on 1.2
 
Going to have a crack at challenging incursion tomorrow with some friends, any tips on best tactic to start with? we're all 190-199 gs, hard mode is too easy now.

Hard: Queens Tunnel and Warrengate
Challenging: Russian Consulate

Combat: 10 Cleaners eliminated
Crafting: 5 x electronics collected
DZ: 3 items extracted

His build is not a million miles away from mine, but never in a million years could I pull that off. (but I'm sure going to try, then go cry in a corner)

Oh, he goes into great detail of his build with images, love it when they take the time to do that, and yep his build is vastly superior. Some lovely rolls. Front page stats are easy to make look good, but whats behind the scenes is what counts.

Great vid. Don't know anyone that uses reinforced cover, just shows how some of us, if not most, don't fully utilise are skills. I for one have never used it, but will likely do so next time I do FL challenge. I wonder how many times he attempted this!
 
Really starting to lose patience with this game now. Swapped out my sniper this morning and having the same issues with DPS drops.

Aug 201k SRS 170K,

Swap SRS for SOCOM, DPS 150k

But as soon as I equip the SOCOM, I get this: Aug 174k SOCOM 119k

I had problems all day yesterday with the DPS going up and down on both weapons. No idea what the hell is going on. Nothing else has been changed.

I ended up heading to bed instead of coming back online.

This is what I'm wondering. Is the DPS display wrong and your DPS is actually still the same, or is your DPS actually dropping? The first isn't so bad. The second makes a mockery of you and your build.

Actually dropping. I finally managed to get my Aug up to 213k and my SRS to about 170k. But when I was in the DZ yesterday, I noticed I was using to much ammo and taking longer to kill NPCs. So when I went to the safehouse to stock up, I checked my stats, Aug 174k and SRS 134K.

Currently my Aug is 192k and my SOCOM(swapped out the SRS) is 152k.
Going to do some dailies and see how things go. Seems funny this happened after I bought the MIA in the BoO yesterday morning. No issues with my other characters.

Yep, you get a jacket for each intel category completion, some are quite nice. One is.... rose-coloured, if you're into that sort of thing. Not showing my gf it, she'll insist I wear it. Ask my big shiny pink truck in ETS2...
