whats peoples opinions on what to use for a primary gun?

atm i use a MP5 ST (g score 163)

ill be on tonight of anyone wants to to some CS or FL, i need some better gear and weapons

depend on your style really. up close and face melting then smg (navy mp5, fw vector, aug) or a bit longer range and tac acr or blackmarket ak (although the diagonal recoil isnt the best to control).
 
I must be cursed... most of the time I'm in the DZ in a group of 2 or 3 other team members get green caches and I get stuck with crappy gold loot >.<... Get the odd bit here and there... but nowhere near as often as other group members :(

Should be on tonight and up for running CS for the 1st time as well as the HVT stuff and a bit of DZ :)

Better gear? DZ is the place, and HVTs. Buy 204 blueprints for better weapons. Primary SMG and secondary AR, of which the tactical ACR currently is the best one in the game; high RPM and no recoil of properly modded - the AK is severely overrated imo,and the worst for recoil. I posted a link in discord to a post here as to properly mod the ACR. I can consistently headshot from one side of the blockade to the other with it.

I did the HVTs i can do on my own but everything else needs a group :(

to buy the 204 blueprints do you need to be rank 75 in the DZ? atm i am rank 52.

for my secondary i normally have a M44 but a rifle maybe a better option.

Agreed. I run an AR and the Steady Hands skill is nice to have if you're popping in and out of cover :)

Full strikers in 240

I used to be on 4 piece sentrys and 2 piece tacticians but that didn't cut if after the patch(all were 191 or 204) so I had to result to changing my gear a lot to make me resilient throughout the whole dz

Also **** balanced day to days. I am aiming for a pure toughness and high dps build now first, then once I have that I will focus on getting other sets to do a high toughness and electronics build for support for the future incursions. Although it is nice to have a nice high DPS and electronics build as it allows or pulsing/smart cover with a high dps build to work off.

I changed a few mods since I posted but this is doing me well so far. I do mis the 30k skill however :( but the high toughness is worth it. I am still aiming to go back to 4 sentrys and 2 tacticians eventually, as I reckon I can get 250k dps, 400k toughness,, 35k electronics with the 240 gear I have now(minus a few bits I need listed above) but for the time being, the top screenshot will allow for me to run the DZ fairly happily until I get all those pieces

I have a few 240 pieces but nothing I want to use, its more armour that I need but ill use your stats as a rough guide as I want a similar build

I'm in the same boat , I don't mind grouping but it gets tedious with randoms who want to group but then do their own thing or just don't have a clue

I'm 67 dz, I was doing a few levels a day now its taken me 3 days to do half a level lol

The m44 is good, I had a really good 182 gs I built but then accidentally destroyed with ui bug
I was one shotting baddies but also had bleed talent so that would finish them
 
Had a fun evening with the ocuk crew..

Enjoyed the DZ farming most, was quite eventful :)

Before I went to bed I sat down and had a look at my stuff and did a few rerolls of things....

I think my character is heading in the right direction finally :)

My SMG is now 198k damage Sniper is 150k damage

My toughness is up from 160k to 300k.....

I have a 182 MP5 and 182 Socom with crap tallents so will need to look at upgrading these

I have a few 204 weapons but they seem to do less damage than them....

Any comments?

Ive got a load of dz creds and div creds etc - is there anything currently worth buying?

Will be on from around 1pm this afternoon if peeps wanna join up..
 
Whats the best method of upgrading my gear outside of the DZ, i dont want to go near the place if i can help it.

Im currently around 190k dps and 138k toughness and like 8k Tech, my main weapons a really badly rolled Vector 182, my 2ndary is another badly rolled Black Market AK47 182.

Ideally i'd like to get better weapons first as i think they have the biggest impact on you farming for other bits right? What should i be focusing on to get 204 weapons? Ive tried doing incursions but as im mainly alone i end up pugging and we all know how sucessful that is most of the time, ive done FL about 6 times on hard, but not managed to complete CS yet.

Should i just stick to farming HVTs? i notice they have kinda graded them from 1 stripe to 3 stripes is it for the dailies? i think they start at lvl30 enemies and scale to lvl32? what kinda stats do you need to solo the lvl32 dailie HVT? or are they only doable with 2 or more people?

basically just trying to understand what should be my focus for now to get better gear to move on really. I think i need to get my toughess up a lot higher as i feel really flimsy in firefights.
 
Bugger came home from work early, was going to do the HVT and some Dailies whilst the wife and kids are out and the servers are going down.

As someone who literally was in the exact same situation as yours, my two cent is actually just find some random groups and clean the HVT weeklies.

I cleaned out my HVT weeklies at ~190GS w/ a few members' help here, and pretty much pumped straight up to 205GS.

Then try to group up as much as you can into the DZ and 201+ bracket will drop quite a few 204 weapons.

I've been farming for two days now w/ members here and some random last night, I finally got my hands on some (badly rolled) 204 AUG and M44, but they're still a lot better than my previous weapons tbh :)
