Had a little mess around with my builds today without spending money which was good

I got a new sentrys backpack also so all I need is a stamina mod with armour (low armour on the pack) and I will have the same toughness as I do currently, but with more DPS and DMG overall including crit hit damage. Will get that from the DZ easily so I don't need to craft

Just trying to still make imporvements but with no money being spent.

That's very nicely done sir! Like we were discussing in the chat just now, I can get my numbers up having different mods (sadly I only have 3 slots all filled with Stamina + Skill Power) but that would make lose 50% of Skill Power I guestimate. But back to yours, that's one heck of a nice combo! If you can get a Sentry's holster that DPS will go further - which isn't really an important number as we discussed just now, however the 3 piece bonus is a welcome one.

Gamble, what are the stats on that AUG of yours? Also, which attachments do you have on it? I'm trying to up my DPS, but getting no where.

You can falsely mod an SMG (or any weapon really) to get your DPS up loads by adding a lot of accuracy on it. Great right? Wrong! Try shooting with it... The weapon cannot be handled. Accuracy is for semi-auto snipers. I see 99% of AUG players running around with a laser attachment on it which gives very high DPS though it's increased hip fire DPS bonus. Hip fire is one of the worst things ever and no one hips fires anyway. I properly modded my AUG, lost about 20K DPS but it's 1000% better so in fact I'm doing more DMG now than I did before. I can write it down for you but am pretty sure I've already done so a few pages back (but have made some changes since). The same for an AR - different mods though. That's the best example I can give here; modded my AR to do high DPS but I couldn't shoot anything with it, it was all over the place. Modded it properly, lost another ~10K DPS but man oh man that same AR can now consistently 99% of the time headshot enemies on full auto from one side of the blockade (DZ) to the other. In short; DPS means nothing and is broken in so many places! And missed shots do not output DPS.

Regarding the 1.3 268 BP's: it must be a bug because they unlock at U-Rank 40. But there are only 30 ranks...

I've got one, always had one in 191, 214, 240 and had many more with 2/3 stats on.

I've made a mistake earlier in saying the M700 Carbon is a semi-auto sniper; it's bolt action. The SVD is a semi, as Mario said.

I finally managed to get one earlier today. Well spec'd also. It took me ages to get one though. Got it from a mob in DZ6.

Brutal/Vicious/Meticulous

Mods:
C79 Scope - 21.5% accuracy and 22.5% headshot damage
Extended magazine - 98% magazine size and 27.6% rate of fire
Small grip - 21% accuracy and 36.5% hip fire accuracy
Flash hider - 21.5% accuracy and 35% crit hit damage

Accuracy is great Fear, reduces the spread on the bullets.

Stability is unnecessary as they are so stable anyway!

I have to disagree here after having tried out both extensively; with all kinds of accuracy on it the AUG (or any SMG) is the worse off for it, whereas stable helps you keep on target. It's stable that reduces the bullet spread due to the recoil

I still have some accuracy on mine though, due to the lack of items. As an example, Gamble has a much better build but my AUG does the exact same amount of DMG as his (11.1K).

I'm just curious if anything with hip fire accuracy actually counts towards accuracy even if you're not hip firing?

I'm getting unknown command when trying to use the in-game chat. Anyone know why that might be? The chat window comes up and I can type my message, but when I send the message I get unknown command. Very strange as it has worked in the past.

Just went into the DZ quickly to pick up the daily mission reward and ended up being hit by rogues three times, even when Idleman teamed up. There were at least three groups of four in DZ 1 and 2.

If you can keep the reticule on target with your mouse movements then stability isn't necessary, whereas accuracy actually reduces the spread on your shots. Stability is needed for ARs, but I haven't found it that useful for SMGs.

Hip fire comes in really handy at close quarters, especially PVP.

Also the 11.1k damage is a function of your firearms score rather than accuracy/stability

Ever since the patch if you type when the / is in the box then the you get the error. Remove the / then type, should work every time then.

I've picked up quite a few nice onces from DZ06 bosses. Looted a Mp5 the other day with Brutal, deadly and "the one that auto fills your mag occasionally". Yellow caches are also a good source.

Had an issue with chat last night myself. Not sure if it bugged out, but I couldn't type anything. A reset seems to work for me.
