I've chucked out a few friends requests tonight, didn't realise uplay had a "friends suggestion" tab.

Are there any good youtubers who do division stuff like news and gameplay/tips and builds etc?

Day one of the nerf :

170k dps, 336k toughness, 10k skillpower

Day 2:

238k dps 462k toughness, 18k skill power

Its fair to say I'm liking this patch :) the 238k is with a g36 with really bad talents too.

To the guy asking about sets, I'm using 4 pred ( I got lucky with 3 268 preds from hvts) 2 strikers atm to compliment the g36, its been good so far, will have to see after the g36 nerf.

Also not really set my mods up for the g36 properly, no point till we see what they do to it.

But if we do heroic mode enough with tony he could get full 268gs sets that almost hit 75% cap anyway then he can roll stuff a bit more unique.

That is the main aim for me, always reach 75% armour without rolling stats.

I don't mind doing heroic Mario. We have done it 4 times now, 2 of them were first attempts.

We aren't a closed group at all, its just that we have run it twice in a row each time for alts, and then get tired of the pressure throughout it and have a break lol

Tomorrow marks the start of heroic UG for me, so will be looking to run that as much as possible when I am comfortable with it. Will do 2 phase CM first with directives before heroic though.

Good day again! Really starting to experiment with gear. Got gs268 strikers gloves/tacticians chest, tacticians holster and final measure chest. All were better than my 240's before rolling so was able to add some additional edr, stamina and smart cover damage resistance to tanktician loadout, and some extra crit chance, armour damage and assault rifle damage on dps loadout.

All I need now is to replace the rest of my 240 loadout of tactician and steikers/sentrys and also get 268 blind sets for my experiment tanktician build and dps.

Work tomorrow :(

Ran 4 Sentry/2 Hunters with the G36/SVD combo on some hard UG missions. Seemed to work OK, although with the G36 I didn't really need the Sentry buff, it melted the Level 32s anyway. Pity they are going to nerf it, finally have a weapon that feels nice to use.

I am going to try the G36 with Predators later, and just have the SVD as backup, and give it a bit of a boost by running the 2 piece Hunters and gloves with additional marksman damage.

I had a ROF mod on the G36 but I am going to change that as well, got caught out a few times changing mags as it goes through a 30 round mag so quickly. I'll see how it goes at its base 750 rpm with an extended mag on it, taking it up to 58 rounds with 33% CHD also on the mag.

Did a few daily HVT, and interestingly received Directive Intel as drops. No regular Intel though.

Went up two more UG ranks and received 268 Blind Gloves and another 229 G36C. Talents aren't great on either G36 and I'm holding off to recalibrate until I see what else I get, and by how much they nerf the G36.

Heroic FL sounds interesting, I'd be up for it if there was a group going over the coming weekend (while I still have a decent assault rifle!).

That's just short term gain but potentially long term pain.

Say he meets his armour cap from gearsets alone with no mods or one then that pistol damage can be rolled towards something much better like edr, crit hit damage etc which can increase his survivability or increase his firepower depending which way he wants to go.

Crafting mods is much cheaper than rerolling gearsets so those armour mods he has now can always be used in other buikds and he can easily replace them with skillpower and crit chance later on.

Anyone using Predator notice if the Shrapnel talent is now working with it?

Conflicting reports on Reddit (as usual). I'll be activating it anyway in the off chance that they have fixed it but would be nice to have someone on here confirm it.

Reading a bit more on the G36 nerf, I'm dumbfounded that something so obvious made it into the release. Every piece of footage we saw prior to 1.3 dropping showed a G36. No one from the test team or the guys who used one at E3 put their hand up to say "we think this is overpowered"?

Don't be frightened of heroic falcons lost. The strategy used is the same for challenge mode which is under the stairs on the left. People used to palm that strategy of and always do the pit as it was supposedly easier and less risky.

I've done the left strat with gamble pre 1.3 and momo and defi I guess have probably done it before so it's simpler when everyone knows what they're doing.

If Phryke is reading this and has finally joined the forum ask him how many people used to complain when we did left side and we failed because they were stuck in their old ways and wanted to do pit and were adament it was better. We couldn't find people wanting to do left side and the people who did and said it was better we stuck with as a group and always did it together ~ Gamble is one of those people.

Anyway there is nothing special about doing it on the left just have a half decent build and I will be happy to run it with you or anyone. I'm surprised Gamble hasn't got a video showing the strategy.
 
Outside of the DZ, what's the best place to get 268 FM pieces? Looking for holsters and masks ASAP.

As for the G36 being 'overpowered', I don't think it is at all; against level 34 NPCs it feels right and I suspect that against 35s it's not op at all either. Unless massive its idea is that you need 3 mags per enemy?

Apparently its base DMG is roughly 30% higher than all other AR which is why it's op and getting fixed. It also "doesn't encourage build diversity" as we'll just end up in another everyone runs an Aug situation.

@Twirly, too right! I was so skeptical about it when I first run it with you and Phryke but that one run changed how I have done it since then.

In terms of a video, I recorded our first run but the video glitches out and wasn't watchable and since then I forgot to record it.

Next time I run it, I will record it and post here :)

I was searching for any indication as to when it might happen, couldn't find anything.

Just "soon" and "we are looking into it". Hopefully it's like some of the other fixes that have taken a fair while to come in.

I agree with Fear...with higher level enemies why not have something that can kill them in under 100 bullets. Buff the other ARs or make the G36 more difficult to get, not always turn to a nerf to create "build diversity".

No problem, was good to play with some more people from here :D

i ran a few more hard missions with a random guy and got a 268 holster! finally replaced my HE one lol
