As im not planning to play the open beta a friend has told me something im not sure if he is explaining correct.

The last time i played in the closed beta your dark zone level dictated what level dark zone group you are placed into. ( or i remember it being that way ) he is saying now that your PvE level is the level that decides what level darkzone group you get put into.

Can anyone confirm please.

I can just about live with uPlay being installed on my PC as long as I can still manage the download/install through Steam. Maybe...

Uplay is actually beginning to grow on me. I think with all of it's regular improvements nice download speeds ( that i simply can't get on steam ) and the sad fact that steam has been taking several steps in the wrong direction and really needs to get a grip has been making me see Uplay in less of a bad light :/.

You've got some reasonable points there to be honest but Steam will have to get substantially worse for me to make me move from the laziness of having everything in one place.

My steam downloads cap off at about 12mb/s uplay and origin both get up to 20.

I have tried several steam download regions however the Manchester one is strongest as im very close to it. Not that 12mb/s is slow mind you it just could be faster is all.

I totally agree with everything being in one place would be really nice to not have to faf about with unnecessary software packages just to launch a game i own. The main issue i have with steam currently is how poorly they treat customers and simply don't care about us. I still can't believe it took them over 2 months to respond to my email about someone who was attempting to illegally obtain access to my account via communications with valve and had somehow gained access to about 20 cd keys that are attached to games on my steam account. Lot's of little things will make steam great again, i just hope they do see that they are taking a bad path such as the one youtube is taking.

I'm on my second account after my first was permanently locked after an error with PayPal. This happened years ago but support were absolutely useless.

There are plenty of good reasons not to like Steam to be honest :/

Steams a funny old thing. Very " love hate " There are as you said plenty or reasons to not like Steam but the same can be said for reasons to love steam.

Im not spending much time gaming atm since my X99 system left me. Glad this POS temp system can handle a few games i like to play though haha!

Add other parts of NewYork , As I believe a lot of what we have seen in the Video's over the past year will not be in the release on march the 8th

Example : Brooklyn bridge and Brooklyn apparently is not in the game at all

To be fair they never did say that Brooklyn or Brooklyn bridge would be in the game.... All of that came from speculation with no proof. The map is what it is and is unlikely to expand by any significant margin.

Correct Even when they have profiles released for them Ubisoft don't enable the solution to work. Probably because SLI is probably less than 1% of the market hence it's not a priority.

Op needs to add what editions are available and which retailers are offering specific preorder bonuses. Additionally what other rewards are available via 3rd party links/promotions. Certain items are getting misunderstood.

There has been a lot of confusion regarding the release time and date for this game due to a global server launch at 00:01 in Australia. Guy's this does not mean you will be playing the game at 00:01 if you bought the game digitally or physically the game will not be playable until it is unlocked on steam & uplay at the advertised time of March 8th 6:01CET ( for us that don't like to check different timezones in the UK that is 5:01 GMT So 5 in the morning UK ) A lot of people have been of the impression if you bought a physical copy you would be levitated around this however it's just not the case as you like all of us will still require to install and launch through uplay.

Those who have hard (LOL) copies of game on XBONE can play now - servers LIVE

BTW - im looking for a group,have mic,but also have baby,so my mic will be very limited,gonna play this extensively

So as i said above that is server launch not game launch. I have had a friend just test on his Xbox as he owns a physical copy and no it isn't live and you can't play. It specifically tells him it's to early to play.

I struggle to see how so many people are struggling to understand the difference between server launch and game launch.
