At 4k, pretty much everything cranked... I have to admit the game looks good. Not e3, but there are a lot of details. That's just 5 minutes in though. Time to get some gameplay in before work! lol
 
Really annoyed. Verified files etc. Ive done nothing since trying it earlier in afternoon yet now the damn thing wont maximize. I can only see it on my task bar. ffs :(

not exactly that res but at 4k with a 970 i get around 22fps. Everything set on high so could probably drop a few settings to increase it
 
Game has huge potential,I was hoping it would be more of a loot the world and survive kind of thing,But its more mission based and i can see it becoming repetitive quite fast.

But who knows what other game modes they have.

It ran very nicely for early access,No performance or disconnect issues at all.
 
So we know about the graphics, what about the gameplay, can I get some honest opinions? Is there much longevity in this? Much KOS?

I don't go by streamers/youtube anymore because I don't know, most of them are influenced by big companies.

Thoughts?
 
Completely unplayable for me at the moment, my mouse movement keeps freezing up which makes it impossible to aim during combat or look around :/ anyone else got this issue?
 
To add to my earlier comments, the controls work very well, especially through the menus where us PC gamers can often be forgotten although even with the mouse sensitivity turned all the way down it's still a little faster than I'd like.
 
I must be blind as I can't see anything in the graphics settings.cfg which says fullscreen

edit: found it. Was looking in the wrong config
 
Enjoyable game... Dark Zone has the potential to be rage inducing once it gets filled with little fuds who go out to hunt others for the fun....
 
Had great fun on this earlier, after all the doom and gloom reports I was quite happy.
Some of the missions require better explanations on what you are meant to do, and when I first loaded I couldn't fire so had to restart which fixed it.

It's got me looking forward to release now :)
 
Can anyone help a brotha out?

Anytime I leave safe-zone at start of game I am just firing my gun constantly, without pressing any buttons. Using a DS4 pad which appears to be functioning correctly, other than this. :/
