Stutters abit for me on ultra @1440p with my 980ti may have to adjust a few settings liking it so far although

Yeah graphics are just superb looking aren't they....
I haven't bothered tweaking much yet as not sure what kills FPS etc. but even with most stuff on low/off, it still looks really good, not e3 2013 looking but still superb none the less.
Seems like we are finally getting games that look really good and push the PC i.e. star wars, tom raider and now this
Definite purchase for me, the gameplay is superb and soooooo good having HUD controls.

Game is absolutely amazing, really good fun. Had a good session with Nex, Westie, and Squeeze since midday. Graphics are really nice, especially in snow storms and night time. Had our first blast in DZ as well for a couple hours, very good fun, just love the way it all works and can be really intense at times.
Graphically I gotta say, it's impressed me, running it pretty much maxed out it does look very pretty indeed. Also very surprised at the performance, even when it dips down in the high 30's, it just feels a lot smoother than that number would suggest. Maybe it's the Freesync screen, but very impressed, can't wait for crossfire to work.
Some detail screenshots inside the spoiler at 1440p everything at max, 100 Sharpening and 100 distance streaming. Put the overlay up as well so you can see figures and vram usage. Crossfire not working, but not bad figures considering high eye candy levels and 1440p.

I don't know, everyone is raving about the graphics but they just don't look that amazing to me.
It just seems to be the Watchdogs engine with a few extra shader passes to me, including that awful Chromatic Abberation postFx.
The fact that a 980Ti is struggling at 1440p is also kind of depressing.

Game on higher settings does look very good considering the amount of detail in the world. I personally think it looks good even with low settings though, the snow, fog + lighting really adds to the game, in motion it is stunning looking.
The gameplay is what has got me addicted though, soooooo good, I was a bit hesitant at first that it wouldn't be a game that would last us too long but I can see myself sinking hundreds of hours into this.

The voice system is interesting, we had a couple of rogue players trying to avoid us in the dark zone and because they were in our vicinity we could hear everything they said, while we had in game voice switched off and were on discord. Hearing the panic in their voices, and their tactical intentions. They had no idea
I'm liking it so far, but outside of the dark zone I wonder whether the missions will get boring quickly. It's a problem that open world games like fallout and farcry suffer from if the quality of the writing isn't good.
Also I notice that most of us have chosen the same character from the "random" character creator, hopefully that will be a bit more diverse in the release.

Id turn sharpening back down to the default of 50 lol. I think its the same effect as just maxing out the sharpening on your TV which looks awful as false sharpening never looks good and introduces too much edge enhancement and obscures fine details.
You can turn Chromatic Abberation off too which is a bonus. That thing always looks bad.

I'm running 4k around 30 - 35fps with only one of my 290's at the moment, but I pumped up the overclock.
Game is actually a lot of fun! Teamed up with Midgen for a bit

NVIDIA need to put out their performance guide for the beta so we can view all their comparisons between settings including the hidden ones in the config files that don't show up in game for some.

This game is a GPU killer unless the drivers are FUBAR!
It'll sit at 100fps on high and then i'll turn around and it'll drop to 50fps and get all jumpy.

Had a good laugh for the last hours or so in the DZ.
Someone decided to add me into their group and that's so much more fun than solo. Anyone else get a little twitchy when you are awaiting extraction with loot and loads of people are about?
My group and another were friendly at the extract then a sniper came along to spoil it... Soon got put in his place by everyone haha
Only small negative is trying to figure out the RPG element but thats just a time thing
