Tek, why mod the secondary weapon - assuming you won't be using it?

Still hunting for those gloves :) can't do anything without them. Farming DN continues.

I use it as a backup, for when my primary runs out of ammo. Which is often. Still only an extra 60 rounds, but better than nothing.

Try and see if you can get SMG gloves and have two SMGs in your pack :)

Hence I'm in dire need of two pairs of AlphaBridge gloves (crits + SMG / AR). Got a FM vest yesterday but my 240 is better ha ha! So still looking for one.

Alpha + reckless/vig + savage rolled for SMG + SMG with crit hit chance mods, and rolled for crit hit damage talents with solid skill for pulse and/or booster shot.....

Prepare yourselves, gank squad is coming :P DZ is just a pvp arena now anyway as every PVE area can be farmed for everything (which is awesome!)

F34R - deadeye + two HF - I will put together a build this week like that and give it a test to see what it is like.

I'm still working on this build. With a decent pair of Sentry gloves, Sentry holster and a more powerful primary weapon, I'm sure I could push my DPS figure further. I also need to increase my Firearms by 90 so that I can unlock my final weapon talent. I'm not sure where to draw that from yet though. And as a further indication of how gear score can't always be used to judge the effectiveness of a build or player, I'm doing far better now at GS245 than I was at GS255.


Alpha Bridge x4, Nomad gloves, Spec ops holster.

The spec ops holster is level 229, however it offers 716,708,689 across the stats which is useful. As well as a talent that heals when moving between cover. All gear mods are rolled with level 32 Stamina +Crit Chance. All minor bonuses are either increased self-heal or increased crit chance on pulse.

35.5% Crit Chance
149% Crit Damage (More if I can find a better primary...)
121% Head Shot Damage
75% Damage Mitigation

Nice Tek, where did you get your AB set from? i am after getting AB as well but not too sure where to farm to start getting it as i have read ity mostly drops from the DZ?

I believe he got a lot from the DZ.

I got 6 pieces from DN bosses and UG however

I have managed to get 214 bits from the UG but would need to do heroic to get 268.

looks like im going to try and find a group to go in the DZ with as its not soloable anymore :(
 
I have an mp7 stacked with crit chance bring total to 60%, so with pulse added on, it could be a beast in the DZ for PVP - also untested at the moment.

You do realize that they hard capped crit at 60 % now.

All of that crit you've stacked on your MP7 is wasted if you're running pulse.

Again, Reckless chest has been fixed and now makes you take more damage. You're crucifying yourself in PVP with this.

Its really only useful for PVE where you can hide in cover and not have to worry about taking incoming damage.

Oh crap so they did......good point. Means I can put better mods on it then, thanks for that!

I tried it out and it seemed alright(reckless) but I get what you mean. I only ran savage yesterday for PVE stuff and I think I actually prefer it.

Vigarous chest could be a viable option as well though for the booster shot overheal.
 
@Fr0dders - thanks for that info regarding crit chance, I completely forgot.

I changed some mods around and brought the CHC down enough so that when I pulse it caps but only just.

And then I put more into crit hit damage which is proving more successful :)

I should have a deadeye / sentry build to post tonight, until I get a HF backpack / deadeye backpack then it will be a deadeye / hf build.
 
I'm interested to see this and how it does in PvP (without the lastest bug :rolleyes:) As its a build I want to try when Deadeye drops on PS4

Yeah without the bug for sure man.

Crit hit damage can be stacked super high, then if you have strong pulse your crit damage will easily outweigh or double your HS dmg so it could be epic.

Especially if you have a marksman rifle with good balance you can almost use it as a shotgun lol

Exactly what I was thinking! If you had an M1A critting for say 125-150K per shot, spam a few bodyshots on a player that already getting teamshot, especially if someone on your team is running Sentry too :eek: Need look out for a hipfire acc. mod to fit the M1A :D
