*** The Division Thread 2.0 ***

What do you use Stash for if you're constantly switching weapons or re-calibrating?

Generally its equivalent gear that currently does fit into your builds or for putting random parts that you aren't using currently.

For example, I have a preds build and sentry/HF on my main character, and a LS/Banshee and a FM/tac build on my alt. These are complete

However in my stash I use it for other gearsets that are not complete, weapons that may suit those future builds, weapon mods that may be viable for weapons I don't have yet, perf mods, stam mods etc that also don't fit into current builds.

But most importantly sometimes, duplicate gear pieces that have different main stats - in case I want to make a random combo build without affecting my finalised builds.

I was always fine with the stash size to be honest as I don't hoard stuff and like being organised but its still a welcome addition

this was probably my favourite announcement/confirmation of today:

Survival
Solo vs groups in PVP survival

*Their intention, and the new matchmaking system tries to find the best match - ie 1v1, 2v3, 3v3 etc but due to the limited server resource currently this isn't possible.

Currently level 21 and enjoying it. Yeah the levelling is pretty much the same thing and killing the same mobs but it's fun.

Not bought or bothered crafting anything yet just using gear I've looted. Saving money etc... for when I get to level 30. Currently 100% each zone. Pretty easy on medium, died a couple of times but that was my fault more than it being hard.

For when I get to level 30 is there any priorities? Is there things I should be doing to progress well? I will be doing DZ and hopefully join in with a few of you guys if there is space.

Just had a look at survival for first time, wow what a look and feel. And dx12 seems to be working wonders for me, 10fps higher than dx11 and feels a lot smoother.

The feels I get in survival makes me smile, this needs to be a much more definite baked in mode though, it's just to good for an hour session.

I'm so impressed, need to get back into this.

Is anyone on tonight doing anything? I should be on at 8:30pm.

Wouldn't mind farming the DZ if any spaces.

Well I've levelled to 30 now and gear score is 168, thanks to a few generous OcUK players dropping me some swish gear and running a few mission on T4.

Got some side missions and last district to complete though.

I've recently built a new machine and have just jumped back into the game since being away since post 1.2 and Falcon Lost - If any of you lovely bunch fancy grouping up, add me on uPlay, i'll be around tonight and tomorrow for some action. uPlay username is dl_tipner

Clear out all of the map's side missions etc to unlock everything. Work your way through the world tiers, gearing up. Save your crafting resources until you really need them (until you get good blueprints).

Of course, you can always team up with others and get a boost through some higher-tier missions for higher level gear, but I'd always want to work my way through everything; you'll learn more than suddenly appearing at max gear score with no idea of what everything does.

Yeah I'm currently clearing every zone which has put me a few levels higher than the zone rating.

Also collected all the data stuff in the zones too.

I haven't spent a penny or used any of my mats for that reason, the drops are fine for levelling.

Personally I find crafting to be completely and utterly useless now (at least for when it comes to main gear + weapons), has been since the second patch.

Hoping to have hit level 30 by tonight. Cant put the game down at the moment been hammering it.

It is a superb game

I am just really hoping that they will make survival part of the main game as a world tier at some point but doubt it :(

Just work your way up through the world tiers :)

A lot of us are on discord all the time for grouping in this game:

Where is the best place to get weapon mods from?

my DZ rank is 64 at the moment.

i currently dont have any BPs so just using what i extract from the DZ etc

Actually liking the DZ with Banshee set, takes all of the annoyance away of getting ganked. As long as you didn't have a perfect roll item you were trying to extract :D

That auto ammo refill while rogue is also handy, survived a few manhunts.

I use the same set as well and now dont mind being killed as i loose nothing apart from what i am carrying (if anything)

I run 3 LS and 3 Banshee in the DZ usually, then it's just a quick switch away when there's a Manhunt on ;)

I've not played The Division before but am thinking about it after I've heard of the improvements with recent patches. Is it worth picking up as a solo player?
