Okay guys i have everything on ultra/high and object detail on full.
Two options have nvidia options like hbao etc. Shall i try them or just leave on ultra?
sorry that was the one setting I forgot, don't put on HBAO as it does nothing but add temps to your hardware.
iirc werent there problems with hbao that meant it was better to disable it altogether? I could be wrong as I'm on amd.

I believe the issue is fixed now, but then again 1.5 is about to be released which will probably break a million things.
I've given up and just used nvidia experience to optimize it and its going good, selected all the hboa etc.

@Nexus - with sweetfx it is such a win. here are a few screenies from the DZ(which is the best place but also the place where you cant run it for PVP)
Had such a night tonight!!! We did UG, LZ bosses, small bit of DZ, and a lot of missions which I hadn't done in ages. I love the missions again and their lore!
Also, first time I have invited a twitch viewer to play, and they were awesome! Might do that more often and they are now on OCUK discord

what a way to invite people into the crew!

Edit: just started re extracting the data files, in prep for Tuesday changes!! Im going to setup my PC to auto download uplay update, auto push changes to my personal and local git, and then I can remote in from work!
Reason being I know they will nerf things more than they state they will and put stealth nerfs and/or buffs etc so I want to report them when I see them to you guys here and on OCUK discord.
And there are a few files I found in the PTS that lead to "competitive" gameplay

take that as you will but until I have production proof I wont post anything. tbh these "competitive" files have been around since 1.1, but they were updated in the pts to include all the new scaling etc so if they appear in prod - game on IMO for a future competitive type gameplay.
