*** The Division Thread 2.0 ***

Talk to me about this glass cannon build. 800k DPS? Fully specced into Firearms? What's your armour and toughness? Is it viable, in terms of squishiness? What gear set items are you using? Are you reliant on others for healing/recovery when downed?

I'll post the full spec when I'm home, but off the top of my head -

335k dps
205% head shot damage
49% armour
30% EAD
225k stam

Forget the name of the rifle, but it's rolled with brutal, elevated and prepared. Giving a large damage boost from both distance and height.

Reckless chest - increased damage
Skulls gloves - increased damage

Basically I rolled everything to FA. Used only firearms gear mods, and selected gear pieces that give a raw damage boost. Non crit hits 550k, Crits 800k+. I can clear the lz bosses with it and some of the dz, but it's very much a gimped glass cannon build.

I got a medved the other day but it is absolute crap :p :o Show stopper ftw :D

And yeah, 100% stack with a 100+K sniper rifle and 165+% headshot damage is beastly

oh yeah its horrible haha but its good RoF so its good for stacks.

I dont think i have had a show stopper drop yet :O

Show stopper is pretty crap too but it looks cool and sounds beastly :p

SAIGA is the best auto shottie overall I think.

Like most named weapons then haha! Look cool, sometimes sounds cool but do naff all. :D I want one for the collection though!

I saw you and Twirly say Saiga, am I being stupid but I have no idea what that is lol!!! Is it the SASG?

SAIGA and SASG-12 are pretty much the exact same shotties. I mainly referred to it as the SAIGA as in all the BF games, that is the name they use :p I don't even know if the division has an auto shottie named SAIGA...

Medved is a SAIGA/SASG-12

Show stopper operates similarly to any auto shottie but has a drum magazine instead of a clip magazine and sounds more beastly and is also way bigger too :p IIRC, the specs aren't as good as the SAIGA variants though. It's unique talent is; the less shells/ammo in your clip/drum, the more accurate it becomes.

Nice, thanks for the confirmation :)

When is the next SOTG? Next week? I am very much looking forward to it. I think the ETF2 might be with them!

Yannick on Twitter today:

"no SOTG today and probably not next week either as we'll be at Red Storm"

Elite Task Force 2 is almost underway.

I got perma banned

Be careful guys - potato aim will get you banned:

Going to contact support now and see wtf is going on. They didn't even have the decency to put my game name in the email.

They don't need an ETF2, they'll end up adding a combination of suggestions from Skillup, Marco, LikeButter and Widdz anyway. It's just a publicity stunt. ;)

On a more serious note, I've got a hankering to try some SLI for the first time. This stems from having just bought a GTX 1070 then impulse purchasing an Asus PG348G. I'm finding that the single 1070 isn't really pushing out the FPS that I want in 3440x1440.

So, I'm planning some PC upgrades (which I kind of need anyway and aren't being driven by The Division) and this is where I've developed this SLI itch that I can't seem to scratch.

My main question is how people are finding SLI in The Division. I've read some stories about people actually having had performance drops in SLI and having to switch off a card to get the game playable.

Any info/experiences would be much appreciated.

Ouch. Reading that email we should all be banned. Recurring actions huh? What like having to do the same four challenging dailies over and over again because there's no new content?

Anything with Ubi associations is bound to be a **** up. I wouldn't be surprised if it's another balls up like the one where they banned Skillup.

Good luck.

Agreed.

I don't use gsync as I have a 4k monitor but I run adaptive vsync on sli 980ti's and I think its fine!

Edit: thanks lol Submitted a ticket so will try ringing and see whatsup

so they raised an appeal case as a banwave went out today and they are aware of the issues from before.

They also asked for screenshots of my game directory + sweetfx + reshade + hwinfo + rivatuner setup.

Hwinfo and Rivatuner I would hope didn't affect it as its just temp overlays, and sweetfx....not sure about that tbh as its got reshade but a load of people use it!

Lets see what they say over the next few days I guess but they don't have the reasons for bans - only the devs have that
