It was but by the time I realised I wanted to buy it, it wasn't on sale anymore.

I was holding out from pulling the trigger on a couple of games, including this. I thought it was a good way to stop my temptation but now I realise what a mistake I made :D

I think a lot of us use AB and RivaTuner though. I think its more likely "salty" players submitting reports. Hope you get it sorted Gamble.
 
I use AB all the time, didn't have it running last night but the last time i was on i had it running as was seeing what temps i was getting on my new AIO but that's all it was for
 
i have AB and rivatuner on all the time, only causes an issue the odd time but never in this way.. can sometimes cause crashes but not had that problem myself
 
Anyone else find it really hard to get into? i cant work out if theres meet to be a story line to it? also got the gold edition and cant work out how to import the added uniforms and stuff?
 
There definitely is a story; if you watch the opening intro then pay attention to all the cut scenes, mission descriptions, radio chatter throughout, and audio files throughout the map, etc etc, it paints you a fairly detailed picture of what happened, along with lots of very personal stories scattered throughout.

Or you can ignore all that and just shoot people in the face.

Rewards are collected from the rewards claim vendor in the Base of Operations, past the stairs, or unlocked from your Uplay interface.

uniforms etc are all at the rewards vendor, he is at the back of you base of operations

you have to get a little bit into the game before you get there though

Also found it easy to get into - not played anything else since i started on this lol
 
Yeah I really enjoy. Ignoring most of the story; I'm more a shoot people in the face sort of person. Grab a mic and try and find people to team up with. I spent most of Christmas levelling up with some German guy which was fun.

I bought the gold edition on release, hated it. I just couldn't get into the game and the only saving grace was the PvP zone until hackers ruined that. I found the gun play awful and didn't touch the game for months. Then a few updates back I re-installed and haven't looked back. I maxed my character, unlocked the max world tier 5 and play it regularly.

Give it time and it will hook you in, there's a lot of game under the hood and I imagine with friends it's even better ! :p
 
Hit level 30 yesterday - Played a pretty crazy 10 hours or so a day last three days which has flew by, it has been a long while since a game has hooked me in such a way. Will have to try wean myself off it this weekend as back to work on Tuesday.

I had reservations about buying the game for along time, since release but I would recommend anyone buy it next time it is on offer if you like this sort of game.

I have yet to finish the story but only have a few missions to go I think best £25 I have spent in a long time.

No idea what is going on today, but had a couple of runs on Hudson Refugee Camp and on both occasions, I have had people insisting on telling others how to play it lol. No need :D
