Yeah, just kept getting caught in the wrong place, hit by the sniper or attracted both heavies at the same time. Clearly not used to the change to the seekers and turret though.

Some times things just don't go your way, maybe last night was one of those! :D

got no problem reading, im just saying youre wrong on the GS increase and last stand being vanity only. they could've easily increased the GS in 1.6 just for the sake of it and made us grind all new gear.

i put little stock in datamining until the content is actually in game. how much stuff has been datamined to date that is obsolete content.

Well,anybody can datamine if he wishes,but only few can separate obsolete content with something really new - SPYDR - this guy knows what he is looking for and he never made a false "findings",Massive should hire him (seriously) as he has better ideas than all YT'bers and streamers put togheter and i trust him more than Massive

I know, right? twice i put Barrett down and then got clobbered by the shotgunners that rush out afterwards because i was standing right outside that door at the back and of course the NPCs appear before the doors open lol.

Do any of you had a bug where NPC going so fast,its like he using teleporting cheat? Just had this in Survival (proly lag) but never seen this before,at least it was not Hunter :D

most likely lag, not had that issue in this game but i have seen it in others before

Will be lag - rubberbanding.

I remember seeing a clip of a hunter teleporting around a corner quick as a flash and killing someone - travelled like 100 yards invisible lol

Not yet but the current iteration of 1.6 is feeling pretty good for normalisation and PVP so I reckon we are getting close after minor tweaks.

PVE even feels OK as well but a lot of stuff has technically taken a nerf for it. Still doable though on whatever difficulty.

I just hope they don't decide to test LS without normalisation, it defeats the purpose of what they are trying to achieve and will either server lock based on GS - pointless, or server lock until you reach highest GS - also pointless and unfair.

Fingers crossed they leave it alone lol

Uplay has been acting funny all this month, sometimes people cant see im online and games wont sync resulting in me having to restart it

Yep, that's what is happening :(

I uninstalled Uplay and reinstalled with no luck - Had it once before and that sorted it but not this time.
 
Friday night me and the gf decided since we were so close to finishing the weekly objective that we'd venture into the DZ for the first time and kill 50 rikers before promptly getting out of there since we were still new and didn't have enough gear/knowledge to be in there.

So we enter at the DZ 1 checkpoint, all ok, a bit weary being the first time and I read online that Rikers are in DZ 3 and 4 so after getting comfortable with a few packs we moved up, again no problems except our bag had got full so we decided to do an extraction. All went fine when assuming we were going to get jumped on by 50 other players for our loot.

Somehow we end up in DZ 6, named elites popping up one side to the next and I'm starting to think that things are getting a bit crazy... nope, gf then leaves group during the heated battle with named mobs - shes gone Rogue?? killed some guy during the skirmish and suddenly I see him at my feet crawling away from the gunfire! I'm thinking oh god this guy must be annoyed, he probably came by to help us.. so I hit tab thinking this guy would be better off just running back than looking a sorry mess on the floor, nope, their loot sprawls across my screen which I've just looted and my gf is now dead from the named elites.

At this point I decide to revive gf and rather than wait for angry player to come back and kill us multiple times until we quit the game that we should just GTFO of the DZ, I then find out I can't enter the checkpoint during combat, and we were surrounded by named mobs whilst aware that the helpful player my gf killed and the loot I stole from them was surely close now.

Running made things worse, much worse! So many mobs were after us. We died, random helpful guy got his loot back and my and my gfs loot whilst performing star jumps above my corpse.

Think I'll go back to the DZ with some help next time to guide me through things
 
or next time just go to the DZ alone, sounds like it was going well until your gf killed that guy! :p

that 50 riker kills was a pain though, took me ages since others were hunting them too
