Yeah at anything other than a slow pace quite often your character is acting like drunk trying to move lol - they really have to fix that.
I'm guessing the server is sending updates at a fairly low rate then if the other client prediction is that bad - guess they will either have to increase the update rate which I guess is problematic or try and split out different things to update at different rates like the way movement and damage is done in other games, etc. trying to reduce it by limiting the max possible rate of change is just silly.
