*** The Division Thread 2.0 ***

Is it just me or is it very hard to play these new legendaries with anything other than skill builds or a good reclaimer in support? trying with my striker build which can breeze any other content in the game = moment I poke my head out (kind of hard to describe) it is like I'm taking several seconds worth of damage instantly like they were already shooting at me even though I can see the NPCs shooting another player in the team, etc.

The only loadout I have much luck with is a hybrid firecrest/tactician build that allows me to do a lot of damage while staying back and a good enough support station to scrape me off the floor :(

Those legendary NPC's do hit very hard. If you can put a 9k stamina 6 piece classy D3 with close to 4k firearms you'll breeze through it even when solo. Strikers is amazing when built for PVE but I do find it tricky to use legendaries. Even though I can melt them quick with with strikers I usually get melted first :D

If you can build a 10k electronics FC classy build with say a 204 gun to unlock all talents while still doing decent damage to take pot shots it's an amazing build for legendaries. I use a 204 lvoa c with determined, ferocious and destructive. Determined is amazing with the FC build because it's gets my alt back fast if I screw up and my turret and balls are ready to go quickly without relying on skill haste.

I prefer hybrid builds - hovering around the soft cap at 450K SP without having to put 10K into electronics and still have a decent amount of damage on my gun and a reasonable support station so I'm moderately self sufficient especially if the rest of the team is meh or something unfortunate happens.

It isn't just that the NPCs hit hard something seems really whacky with the damage more than normal like its coming in bursts that only loosely reflect what is going on ingame.

The reason I built my FC build around 10k was for every 2k or 2.5k electronics the enemy burns for 25% longer. To legendaries NPC's my turret will do 27k damage minimum and 31k with water, challenging NPC's don't last long :D

Need to practice with strikers in legendaries more as it's a set I very rarely touch on on those. Running 80% EAD and 56% DTE so it should take them down fast enough.

Should be able to get some strikers bits with the targetted crate things with this coming GE.

Also some mention on the Ubi forums people should use the Fear Tactics talent or something with this GE - not looked into it though but could be worth keeping in mind.

What a surprise the GE is built around mechanics that have long time been bugged in the game and no different when used in the GE LOL this is why despite loving a lot about the game I'm not rushing to buy TD2. Makes me want to facepalm how much of a disconnect there must be at the developer between the person(s) working on this GE modifier, how the code its based on is supposed to work in theory and how it actually works ingame and I can only guess not properly tested before deployment.

NPCs seem to get all messed up with the shock effect from bullets with really random outcomes - sometimes they get stuck in a state other times they slide straight at you and melee you while they should be shocked, etc. etc.

Glad this one is done and dusted...

Edit: Solid White Weapon Skin from Appearance Vender in the BoO! very rare this comes out to play so don't miss it.

I will buy TD2 as soon as preorders go live :D
Seriously - with all annoying bugs,glitches,cheaters--i didnt spend in any game that much time, and i have no patience really- will buy Division 2 in a heart beat

Anybody up for Falcon tonight? Kinda want to remember what it is

Every few waves one of the NPCs drops a bomb which has to be placed on the back of the APC - there are turrets guarding the APC which "need" to be switched off or they will quickly kill the person trying to plant the bomb (the control panels are found left and right of the APC).

Ammo is in a sunken corridor in the middle of the main room - generally the raised mezzanine on the right hand side of the main room is the best place to work from.

Pay attention to which NPC is the bomb carrier on that wave as killing it in the middle of the room or another position that is exposed to the APC's turrets makes it harder than it should be.

At the start just after you go down the first ladder a lot of teams will skip the NPCs at the second ladder by using overheal and/or stun and fast sliding down the ladder.

IIRC the last wave at 15 infinitely respawns until the bomb carrier is killed so don't spend too long trying to clear the wave before killing the bomb carrier.

When trying to plant the bomb if you've decent amount of skillpower placing a turret just infront of the APC will distract the turrets long enough to make it easier combined with a support station just out of sight of them to keep you alive.

Ok thanks, I saw one bomb drop before we got kicked, again. I'm using a Striker and had 2 guys with D3. I'm fine shooting and taking damage but not a healer at all. I hate being the healer.

Striker can do pretty well on its own on that one - make sure you've got either defib or support station to scrape team-mates off the floor - with experience you can position yourself on that map to make up for fails on the part of the team :s
