I used Preds a lot..then returned to centry/striker combo..Its not that they are not good,they just dont have that proper set bonus that centry/striker/tac has.
Yes,shooting at mobs is nice,looking how they bleed,you save ammo etc ect..but its not that effective how on paper looks.I still have set (270/480/22) but im thinking of selling it
 
Yeah that's what I always see ppl use....even still. Sentry/Striker combo's. I've never had great luck with drops on those. I need to be better at farming....or at least knowing what to go for.
Speaking of farming.....what's this dragons nest glitch??? :D anyone care to explain.
 
I don't think there is a dragons nest glitch to be honest, there are some good methods that utilise teamwork and complimenting builds but I haven't seen a glitch to be honest.

Unless that's what the leaving the map on DN kills player fix tomorrow is?
 
Just saw a couple vids, basically to start with, you can by pass the first two flamers, then lock them in the by the escalators (still have to kill them) - they are easy anyway.
Before you jump over the bus, you can glitch and go in the parking lot to the left (where you collect ammo initially) - then no enemy can get to you, but you still have to kill them all.
Then at the end, with the fire truck you can basically die and respawn at that place as a checkpoint almost. So....not that great really.
 
So it's just farming the 4 middle bosses? But by sitting outside the playable area? Sounds like that's being fixed tomorrow then.

Why do people do it, they must be incapable of playing the game without cheats as you can farm those guys normally by killing all 4 and then just dying. The loot just stays and they respawn.
 
Well it's not even farming.....
it's just a way to kill them without getting hit basically.

Farming the end tank would be great (quick way to get some decent loot), but by the looks of it, just a way to make it easier.

Ran Heroic DN about 4/5 times tonight in 25-30 minutes a run. Absolutely fantastic method that Twirly found, no cheese, no glitching, just a good balance of team member skills that benefit each other.

I recorded two runs, one where 2 members die in the middle, but we pick up and finish in 25 minutes, or the second one where there were no deaths, but I ran forward after the bosses thinking everyone was behind me....when in reality they were not lol! They were getting ammo as the station had bugged out. 26 minutes for that one.

Second one will do so will upload over night

Goal - sub 20 minute run which I believe is 100% possible!

Edit: Wont be uploading as my internet is going super slow tonight(200mbps virgin), first time in a few months.

Will render it overnight then to 1080p from 1440p and upload it soon....unless we get a quicker run tomorrow :-o

Side question which is, in fact, related to the game play: discord doesn't register my voice anymore however I do come in and out now. Very frustrating during playing with a group. Found no solution online, if anyone has had the same and fixed it, do tell.

Finally I gave up on fixing it because I wanted to play rather than tinker an evening.

Thanks for making DN look easy! Got Reclaimer gloves as a reward and a holster from Gamble - thanks for sharing! The game seems dead set on giving me DeadEye, which I don't need but Momo did. This will be a good farming place for me to get my gear together and replace lesser pieces. 4 yellow drops from the collective gave me an aw moment :D

It's annoying how skills can bug out still, like that ammo station. It went sideways for a second when we got ammo, but better be safe than sorry in case it would bug out again.

Anyone up for farming lexi on heroic for a bit later? Need the PC for weapon recals and the next roll is over 450 PC :(

ive given up on discord, its gotten extremely flakey recently.

patch notes- Modified PvP weapon damage modifier so players will deal about 20% more weapon damage to each other (note that this change does not impact skill damage) that makes DZ even harder solo :(

I'm not sure I understand the logic behind this. Surely it's OP NPC's that are the issue, not players?
