*** The Division Thread 2.0 ***

I decided to uninstall the game last night. I've clocked up an impressive 600 hours and enjoyed a good chunk of that time. I've certainly had my £££ worth. However, I'm finding the game is eating up a lot of my spare time. I'm returning to university as a post graduate next month, and would like to get my mind in gear before I start. Cheers for all the fun:)

At least you have your priorities right, good luck.

Fairy muff man, been fun :)

Tbf work is gonna get busy for me at the beginning of Sept, I'll probably be doing the same for a bit :)

gave up trying to do Heroic UG with randoms, last 2 nights spent a good few hours doing them and wiped a number of times all night without successfully compling a single one.

went back to running hard UG just for XP\Caches

Done it many times now...

You need people willing to work as a team and compliment each other....

Some kind of skill based support (Rectician is good) to support using pulse and smart cover

Three DPS builds

Running ammo is important for 1 member

Pulsing in front of doors is useful - to check the need for cover back

When staying in mission room and activating so new waves appear - work out best point to cover as many sides as possible - take out the axe men and finish rest off..

Exactly man! The bit I put in bold is especially important, as some of the NPC's can literally be right on the other side so great advice.

Metal shutters in the train stations for example.

In terms of skills, All four directives are fine, but if possible remove mad skills. This allows for independent signature skills, and independent pulse + SC for tac, and overheals + whatever else for the DPS dudes.

I love the UG, despite the drops, but it can quickly go wrong lol!!

I think heroic underground is the most challenging thing in the game - some of the timed missions and layouts can make it very tricky and go wrong very quickly....

If game is getting boring its worth playing and feels rewarding instead of doing 4Horses over and over again... (unless you are just farming for drops)

Also working out when to run through a section on heroic is important as it can save time and risk (but can be risky in itself)

I agree, there are many areas that you can easily get rushed on, and some places have almost zero cover.

That and not knowing what type of NPC you are going to come up against makes it very interesting :)

I also just like being in the UG, it looks fantastic and the level of detail is amazing. However, I do wish there were more areas like the initial mission in the nightclub :) Was epic!

The End is NY (the neon nightclub mission in the underground) is one of my favourite mission environments in any game, would love to see more like this.

that did make me laugh and i liked the level as well! music getting louder the closer you got :D

only seem it as the first mission in UG and that's it unlike the others i have ran through many times.

Exact thoughts here, was thinking how cool that part of the mission was, completely like any setting in any area of the game, loved it!

:D

Currently trying to put together a Sentry build:

Where do I go from here?
Used this for a couple of runs and can really notice the lack of toughness :(
However the m1a and G36 have become a lot more powerful.

Its good,but you want:
savage gloves or reckles/vigorous chest with right stats,5centry and either gloves or chest
Not sure why you feel lack of stamina,i have few centry builds and they are 365 and 355 stamina, much less than yours ;) But damage making up for it
Besides, there are big things like stats on gear-armor damage, crit damage, etc.
You need to unlock talents on weapons, thats where th real difference is,so you should aim for 3k FA at least and try unlock weapons talents. And roll for better ones as well,as you have more than enough pc creds
That Brutal on your M1A should be unlocked right now ;)

@Clipsey. Solid looking build so far and quite a change from your last screenshot so well done :)

I agree though, coming from high toughness to a more balanced figure is quite a shock but I reckon that is playstyle more than anything. You should see the state of me when I go back to my DPS build from my 700k build lol I feel squishy where as in reality, I am just not taking cover as much. (translated to - running around like a pleb lol!)

But, I will give advice on what I would do to that build but bear in mind differing playstyles etc:

Firecrest vest I would get rid of simple because it has no talent on its own unfortunately, and I would replace it with either a vig chest or reckless chest. (both readily drop in DN)

For PVE, either is fine, for PVP, vig would be better.

In terms of gearset pieces, I can see the mask is rolled towards electronics and based on the electronics value it doesn't look like backpack or mask have SP rolled as the major attribute so I would try and get those two pieces with SP rolled onto it already.

This will allow you to roll that mask towards firearms which would give you circa 3500 firearms and unlock all your talents on weapons.

For gear mods, 4xstam + sp, and 1xfirearms + sp would give overall (roughly)

3500-3700 firearms value
Around 390-420k toughness
Around 28-32k SP

With a booster shot on the side but those values could easily be changed by adding in stam _ health mods for more toughness, or firearms + crit chance for more firearms etc

Alternatively, if you get a sentry chest, go savage gloves for the crit hit chance boost.

The above values are based on SP mask and pack though.

If you chose to roll the mask now to firearms, the firearms value and toughness would stay the same as I posted, but electronics would drop to around 15-17k.

For PVE, this isn't a big concern as most teams have complementing builds by proxy, even via MM half the time but its up to what you feel comfortable with.

*******
For me, my sentry/savage gloves build has 3700 firearms, 398k toughness, and 31k SP which is fine for me, I reduced toughness for firearms.
