*** The Division Thread 2.0 ***

I'll sit out the incursions. Still up for roaming bosses / dz etc. After a few months out of game, I'm not quite ready for incursions just yet. Besides, I can't use my mic so I'd likely end up killing us all:D

I've have had no small update and no change in performance? Playing all morning without issue, just re-launched, no updates.

my god the game is so unstable today after the small update. just locks up randomly.

uplay or the actual game? That's not good.

I know a few have mentioned some locking/lag when opening stash but I think that has all passed now

EDIT: Might be an unlucky connection to a bad server - some people are getting Delta errors at the moment

the game, just locks the screen and then goes to thedivision.exe is not responding close or wait.

uplay did a smallish update to the game at first logon today.

event viewer:

The program thedivision.exe version 1.0.0.0 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel.

This is my loadout after a bit of tweaking, world tier 4:

Given up trying to get matching gear sets, too much faff :p

Glad to see that yellow gear is damn good again, should bring back more unique builds.

I've got a pair of deadly, brutal, fierce weapons which is always nice. Had my 204 ak74 from pre patch which nothing has come close to and an Aug dropped today and managed to get the only useless talent rolled off.

Not coping too badly in T4 even though I'm pretty squishy. 41% armour and 210k stam.

Running around on world 2 tier, can just go up to 3 now. Spent about 6-8 hours since patch and now look like this:

Loads of green set pieces, just need to figure out which way to go, it'd be nice if you could switch between loudouts with shortcuts.

However, DZ is pretty dead so can run around without much issue. Normal areas are challenging at times but getting a group for challenging missions etc is near impossible at the moment.

I've not really touched crafting yet, is it still worth doing?

After collecting some new gear with the aid of Fear, sorry, M.O.T.H;) last night, I think I'll try and reroll some talents this evening. I can't remember, but do the weapon talents Accurate, Vicious and Swift increase your paper dps figure? If so, which of the three is the worse offender? Cheers.

Fear is fine ha ha! Vicious is the worst, try for brutal, destructive, responsive - any of these, but all 3 is a god roll for me (AR). Glad you got some good stuff from the run! Cheesy gave me my first 4% turret DMG mod so I'm well happy!

Cheers. Any idea if Swift increases the dps figure as well? It says it increases reload speed, but I think* I remember it boosting the dps.

All 3 increase the paper DPS but the worst offender is accurate, closely followed by swift. Not so much fierce anymore as CHC is absolute junk for most builds unless specifically spec'd into.

my mk17 has almost 700k DPS on my sentry/HF build due to accurate and if I tac advance with booster - I can get 1 million DPS. Means **** all though lol

In terms of looking at the talents, depends on the weapon but I think:

Accurate - keep for AR and lost swift
LMG - the opposite

Sorry I missed you last night dude, took me ages to get moving for dinner lol

Managed to do a couple of UG Challenge missions solo and did try Queens Tunnel Camp CM and failed badly lol. I do like the level of difficulty now and even managed to take out 3 rogues who thought I was easy pickings being solo yesterday, so quite chuffed with that. DZ is fun again for me now that I can survive against the NPC's, I previously failed badly even in DZ1 :D

Very happy with this build so far, managed to get an extra stamina armour mod so shifted that from firearms to stamina. Got a little more headshot damage as well.

Still plenty of room for improvement. With a few good stamina armour mods I may be able to get this close to 400k stamina.

Critical hit chance 10.5%
Critical hit damage 98%
Headshot damage 108%
Armour mitigation around 56.4%
54% armour damage
17% damage to elites

Just done the three hardest weeklies solo and melted them, 33 elites (grenadiers/shield guys) solo are going down with 10 to 15 bullets :D

Really need to try and get a specialised vest with ammo capacity as the minor if I can.

First time in about four weeks, and since the patch today/ I have no idea what's good, what's bad, what I should keep and what I should change/get rid of. Happy days!

same here, not played in months and been back 4 days.

My rule of thumb at the moment, if it makes my stats go up I keep it :D
