Just done lincoln solo on challenge, that was tougher than other missions on challenge!

Got some decent striker gloves there to get the stability bonus but I'll probably go back to the savage yellow gloves for the extra 7% crit chance... Still not getting any good firearm mods with armour :( Sitting at 55% armour.

Downloading the PTS now (shouldn't have deleted it in the first damned place) and will have a play. So slow downloading as well but looking forward to this.

That's one thing I wont be doing. I stockpiled in 1.3 and almost had 5 builds on day 1 so Im going to use 1.4 as a platform to get credits only lol

But the progression in gear looks very logical and realistic - fingers crossed.

50minutes of work left... FML

With my luck in this game for the RNG, I need all the help I can get :D
 
for those that removed the PTS, start the download and then log out of Uplay

copy the contents of the live game over to the PTS folder and re start everything

should make the download smaller as i did this when the PTS first started and saved me downloading 32GB again
 
Did a couple of play throughs of Survival on the PTS. It's ok but I wished they extended the main game/story instead of wasting resources on this :/ I think the game is going to sink back to pre 1.4 playerbase levels after a month of survival coming out.

Agreed, not really impressed with Survival tbh (but I'm liking the other changes to the main game)

In survival? sorry I should have said I meant that rather than pts.

Hmm EAD as a major will be bad news unless theyre allowing extra major stats - having to choose between armour & EAD on knees for example.

Some interesting unique gear pieces there, shortened fuse timer, ferros mask, skulls gloves, & barrets bullet proof all look pretty decent, the fuse thing especially for me, as mobs always have way too much time to get out of the blast.

New weapon types - good to see the famas appear.

Urgh hunters hs bonus getting nerfed.

And in typical monday fashion I found a great m60 with brutal & destructive as 1st 2 talents only to blow 1600 pxc on all 6 rolls & still not get ferocious lol, did find a nice g36 tho, but that doesnt want to roll ferocious either :D
