Just a thought,

Think how epic will the expansions and DLC will be ..............:eek: :D

Higher level enemies, new quests, better gear, more enchants and spells.

Based on the capabilities of this game and relative efficiency of the texture compression vs environment size I can't wait.

Ooooh, stop it, you're making me drool just thinking about the DLC. I'd love one to come out in time for Christmas so I can spend my two weeks off playing it again :D

Dragon is the light armour version of Daedric armour. So this means Daedric will offer more damage mitigation although do the perks in the light armour not make Dragonscale just as effective once worn?

Left side of the smithing tree is light armour, right side is heavy armour.

Nope, Dragon armour is top of the tree, not left. It has both light and heavy armour options.

Ah yes I see, was getting confused.

Only armour not weapons though which means you either need to go one point further for Daedric weapons if you have taken the left side of the tree for the light armour or take the right side.

And saddle bags would be great for holding loot.

I don't really like the idea of any sort of companion joining you on quests.

I took Lydia along, but it always stresses me out that they are going to die and I have to look after them - which I dont want to do. Much prefer plodding through stuff myself.

I guess a companion will come in handy when I want to level my one handed swords so that they can tank for me.

If they die, they die. You don't have to look after them, heal them or anything. They'll come back to life eventually. Just don't issue the killing blow yourself, otherwise they are gone for good.

Seriously, I love the idea of a companion, especially knowing a dragon could swoop down at any moment. The other night, a Sabre caugh me out in the middle of nowhere. I've killed them before, but for some reason this was one tough mother! Ended up diving into a lake and flaming the git from there as he wouldn't enter the water. Only to be attacked over and over by them fish! A little help would have been handy.

Leveling smithing is a very good idea in my opinion, it's been a big help being able to smith the best armor sets and weapons, if I didn't do smithing no doubt I'd still be running around in full steel haha.

Currently level 25, loving it. :D

Oh also, I married someone, after the ceremony I haven't seen her since! Any idea where the 'wifes' go? I tried my house and she isn't there.

Spent a fair amount of time in Thieves Guild yesterday - aren't they a stupid bunch?

They all carry around a fair few bits and pieces and then I chucked them so money to level me in a few bits and just stole the money back easily.

Sneak is getting really great, I think I'm now 60 in it and it's awesome how little people notice me. Need to get my 1H and Archery up a bit more as they are only at 40 and I'm level 20.

I'm hoping for more like Knights of the Nine, or Shivering Isles, both offering around 30 hours of gameplay time. I still need to finish Shivering Isles, not sure I can go back to Oblivion after playing Skyrim now.

Yeah hopefully, I imagine it will be a while waiting for something of that level though. Shivering Isles was just brilliant.

Is there anyway to see on Xbox how many hours you've played so far?

Save game, go to load it up and it will show your play time on that save :)

I started a new char last night, (again). This is going to be my main char, it's a high elf mage, I am wearing robes at the moment but will be going into light armor around level 10 as I want to upgrade my enchanting and grab Azura's star so I can enchant light armor and not miss out on tasty magika regen :)

I am going to stick to this char this time, now I know more about mage stuff and have played a decent amount with my melee char, I can now play through without constantly wondering wtf is going on :)

Only taken me over 30 hours to finally decide on a char lol.

I've always been satisfied with my 2h warrior, never really had the urge to make a new one tbh. I am really enjoying it though. 45 Hours played so far it seems.

Ok, I now finaly did the blood oath and can now turn in to a werewolf once a day lol Brilliant, this game just gets better and better :D

(there are no down sides to being a werewolf are there? I mean Vampirism is and you cant go out in sunlight and all that)

Is anyone else finding that because there is so much flexibility and choice in the character creation and perk trees, it is really easy to become a generalist by accident?

I like to be a jack of all trades generally anyway, so I'm finding it quite nice that I can level things up fairly equally if I want to. What I am finding is that I can never decide what perk I want, so I've currently got 3 perks available to use as soon as I can figure out what I want!

Im the same I try and keep things as balanced as possible, I like to have my detruction magic, two handed sword, single sword and sheild all balanced.

I realy need to get my smithing up but its pain stakingly slow I have not been able to get the next perk up, need to stick at. :(
