I'm going to start a new game because I kind of messed my perks up a bit too much.
I'm going to want some Conjuration sooner for atronachs, and leave enchantment / alchemy till later.
I'm going to play from the start on Adept this time too
Thats a shame, could you not just use the remove perk command?

I came across the companions and decided to join them, (for no good reason tbh 
) but just followed the dialogue, ended up doing a fighting test to see if I'm worthy, completed a couple of simple errands and I'm one of them now. It seems to be a worthy cause from what one NPC told me as I walked past him, but how does this affect me if I wanted to join stormcloaks or imperials later in the game? Have I made my bed and am with companions now for good or can players change allegiance?

Companions quest line doesn't affect the war between the stormcloaks and imperials so don't worry.

My brother and I were laughing our asses off at the mod that removes spiders and replaces them with bears (messes up the hit boxes and animations in the process). I seriously can't believe people are that frightened of them.

This game is ruddy massive! I'm still exploring new things after a play through of over 32 hours! Most RPG games are usually coming to/or outright finished by then. I've still got swathes of the map to cover not really in to the main story line. Just going where the road takes me, meeting people and killing them. All good fun.
