Am i the only one not having problems, no mods/tweaks and baring the odd CTD its been flawless :p

Luke...I am your father!

I have had a few CTDs but not due to mods, the crashes most people are having atm are due to the game or tweaking gone wrong(a misplaced keystroke when altering my ini file gave me a headache believe me!!), mods won't make any difference until the big ones come along, atm they are only texture improvements.

Have had CTD's at start ( every 10 mins or so), but after changing to 16bit 44.1khz audio it's been nearly stable.

Been playing for hours and hours and no crashes, except in 1 place: Bonechill passage, Google revealed I was not the only one and I played through it in windowed mode ( as it would crash again and again within 2 minutes in that passage, playing the game windowed will fix it), then back to fullscreen.

So aside from the audio issue at start, and the bonechill passage bug, I've had no problems with stability.

I play a mix of a warrior and thief, I've got the thief thing on the stone enabled.
I rob everything and everyone, and try to get as rich as possible. But can also hold my own with a sword and bow. Got good skill ratings for one hand weapons, archery, speech, alchemy, enchanting, lockpicking and atm working on my pickpocketing, I want that perk for 100 extra carry space.
Only update my stamina and health when leveling up. Mostly stamina for extra carry space and sprinting ( stupid horses die to easily if you jump off from to high, killed 3 horses now, luckily none of them mine as I only steal horses but still, unhandy in rocky environments like Skyrim...).
Got pretty crappy skills with all the magic stuff like destruction...

Not a fan of magic atm.

Btw, I lost my companion you get for killing the first dragon, anywhere know how to find out where she is, she carried thousands of gold in weapons and items, I only really liked her as a packing mule but one moment I noticed she wasn't around any more. While I liked her role as a packing mule I hated her getting in my way. And now I just want my stuff back.

She'll either be back at Dragonsreach, or in your house in Whiterun. If she isn't dead, that is, but even then if you can find her body, all your stuff will be on her corpse.

Just kitted out my wife (right) in full Daedric armor and weapons. Originally used dragon armor but it looks rubbish. Dude in the middle can be summoned for 60 seconds.

Loving this game so far but just finding it hard to decide what skills to level up etc. I'm concentrating on heavy armor and dual Daedric swords for now, with the bow for longer range and dragons.

I think I may well go for a different approach when I playthrough again.

Snowdog it will run fine in 24bit 44khz, no need for 16bit. It is mainly the 44khz bit that fixes games such as this not the "bit" section just the "khz" section.

About your housecarl.

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20111111212326AApuEEF might help.

How does everyone get by dumping their stuff ? I mean the traders and alchemists are poor buggers, I'm carrying around THOUSANDS in potions but can't sell em due to the stupid shops and alchemists having so little gold, I'm carrying over 100 kilograms of potions alone :(.

Try selling to mages like the one at dragonskeep i think its where jarl is. More ppl than just general trader shops to sell to for stuff. I used to get bummed about the trader at whiterun running out of gold selling but found the 2 blacksmiths next door to my house would buy the armor and weapons and misc stuff off me so theres an extra 750 gold (after they run dry) per day, each.

No CTDs here. I play fully in 1st person, pure mage perks though I've levelled up a few other skills for fun & profit. When I played Morrowind for the first time I had it in 3rd person because it seemed a lot more natural to me, but I got used to 1st person during my third or so playthrough (out of about 8 :)) and I've stuck with it throughout the series to date - makes sense with a caster, but even with my standard caster/melee hybrid in Oblivion it plays better in 1st :)

Wait, so you summoned, the guy in the middle, and the woman on your right is your wife... So you're a woman with a wife? Or is left your follower?

Thieves guild spoiler and question:

So, I'm in Markarth trying to get Cancelmo's translation stone thing. When I enter his lab, his guards will attack me. Is it ok to kill them and I can still do the quest etc?

Dark Brotherhood starter quest spoiler:

So I had a visit from the Dark Brotherhood last night, woke up in a strange room to find a tricky decision at hand... who would be most likely to have a contract out on them? I debilitated for a while on the best candidate and settled on the bitchy house wife, only when I came to follow through with my choice... well, suffice to say dual-cast fireball with double augmented flame perks doesn't really leave a lot of room for discretion :/. She didn't seem to mind that they all died, though... anyone know if there was a right answer amongst the three?
