The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - MODS & TWEAKS

Bought Dawnguard today and downloaded the unofffical patches for good measure. The resulting carnage with upteen mods installed probably means a complete reinstall is in order. The fact it's refusing to start at all probably confirms this. 'tis a shame as Hearthfire played nice.

Oh well, another excuse to reroll! Level 30's nothing! :D
 
Easiest thing to do with skyrim is get complacent. I must have restarted ten times borking up saves. Learned the hard way.....
Dont change ugrids to 7
Once a mod is on, dont take it off.
Dont think your card is crap just because it doesnt have enough vram for all the umoptimised mods.
Most of all, make too many changes at once and you will completely bork it up.

I have a combined file of 60 mods hosted that you can use would be the easiest way to get it running amazing. Feel free to check my screenshots too.

Start off with this.

I have then made a combined file with 60 texture mods all in one package which i have hosted below.

The file is split into 7 rar files and will need to be extracted and then put back into a single rar file and then added to nexus mod manager.

I love skyrim so i been changing mods etc. Incase people didnt know Realistic lighting have got a new beta weather mod going as well and it looks great to me as i was using COT V3.1 before :)





I got nothing special going on, just Terrain Bump Texture pack, Pure Waters and RLO Weathers Alpha

If you are bored of the same old routine and not sure about using ASIS for extra spawns then you got to try out this mod Sands of Time http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12452/ Best dam fun i had in ages and only just got to Whiterun. Random spawns keep things very interesting but make sure you got a healer companion with you and i recommend this one as she follows you around healing and fighting but dont need to make her a follower http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/24664/

The one you want is Miria you not gonna last long without her, thank god i am doing 1h and shield this time around lol

I have just started a complete reworking of the mods I use as well. Climates of Tamriel and SkyRe are gone, and Enhanced Lighting and ACE-Combat Skills are in. Seems good so far, though Enhanced Lighting makes dungeons a little too bright for me tbh.
 
Can anyone recommend a good mount mod?

I started a new character yesterday and I have already got two horses killed, so I think I need to get something a little stronger before the RSPCA turn up at my door :p
 
Hi guys

I hope someone can help with this! I've just started playing Skyrim for the first time and I want to use the bag of holding, someone made a mod for it like the Oblivion version.

All I have installed mod wise is:
SKSE
NMM
SkyUI
And the bag of holding

In NMM it's showing the bag mod is loaded, on the launch screen it shows the bag is ready to load but because I'm having to use SKSE from it's own exe, I can't see a way to check that the bag mod has loaded.

When I'm in the game it doesn't appear at all so it doesn't look like it's working. :(


Any suggestions?

Argh how frustrating. Reinstalled Skyrim, have just installed BOSS and Wrye Bash, but I keep getting 504 timeouts on the skyrim nexus site. Wonder if they're just really busy :(
