True, if only Skyrim looked as good as it does with mods and ENB without the frame rate hit
OK im slowly but surely getting there.
I removed all my current mods and used the guide at the start. I am up to the end of the first gfx part, installed ENB - this is actually performance(I didn't realise) so going to download the one with better looks now.
Rocking out 60fps with no drops so going to keep adding different textures etc until it looks better, still not as noticeable a change as this point on the first page guide:

And will test it now. Im assuming you mean for FPS considering Riften etc are quite detailed?
quick question. not really mod related but are we bothering to use the skyrim thread anymore?
I have the atherial crown and have the mage stone as well as the lovers stone. Does that mean that the mage will level even quicker than just the mage stone?

Once you get the main mods installed the rest are quite simple but depends whos mod guide you're following.

how on earth did I overlook Real Clouds mod in amongst my 170+ mods lol http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/39450/? just put this on this morning, talk about epic. Seeing the big black clouds roll in low, with rain falling from them in the distance looks brilliant. Couple that with my immersive thunder and lightning, what a treat it is lol.

oh....it seems to be what I go into combat with the most though
I'm actually starting yet another game, but this time a class I never play. Going to try doing some sort of Battlemage with Stave one hand and magic in other like wards etc. Normally go sneaky sneaky archer/rogue but I'm bored of that. Got some awesome Spell mods, want to try them all out. I've done a re-count of my installed mods, 181 lmao
