Yes I sorted it, the file had been mis-named so just needed changing.

Currently looking at installing Nolvus (or similar). Quite excited, only been able to play with a few mods to this point but finally have a system capable of handling things.

I had a go at Nolvus a couple of months ago.

2000+ mods and it alters the game a fair bit. Think there’s a newer Nolvus release out now too.

Took up 500Gb of space!

Enjoyed it but IMO the differences to the skills were worse than vanilla Skyrim. Did look vastly improved at 4K and I did enjoy it, although it was uninstalled immediately after finishing the game.

Having seen some videos, there does seem to be a lot of the combat elements I'm not interested in. I'd rather just have the world looking good and leave (most of) the rest.

QQ on Nolvus. There's a section in the install guide saying I need to have all creation club content installed, prior to installing the mod list.

Is that accurate? Is there a quick way to do that??

You probably need the anniversary edition (or whatever its called). Most of the wabajack installs need this. I managed to pick up the upgrade pack off cdkeys for a couple of quid.
To install, you need to run skyrim, then the creation club content 'should' download. If not then just select from the list within skyrim. Then you'll need to exit and restart to confirm it's installed. It should explain this in the wabajack readme

I am currently playing through skyrim again with a Lost Legacy wabbajack install. Lots of good stuff but like HRL mentioned I didn't like the new skills tree. Prefer vanilla.

The only thing I struggle with getting perfect is Dynolod and cave interior darkness levels. It's not atmospheric enough!
