The Emirates FA Cup 4th Round ** Spoilers ** [7th - 11th February 2025]

Looking at the bench I can’t see anyone that’s going to change the game, Jones will try to be to clever and lose the ball, going to need a touch of fortune to get anything from this.

Jota, Cheisa , Elliott , Endo etc could have all done better they may not play every week but there senior players plenty experince

It’s been pathetic

You'll still win.
I really can't see it. It's not like we've dominated the game and just struggled to break them down, we've struggled to get the ball into their half.

What could the first 3 do when they're not getting the ball? We're trying to pass the ball out of the back with players unable to do so.

Don’t think any of our players seem interested in this game
Don’t think any of the fans are either, FA cup same as the Carabo cup are proper tin pot trophies since the FA has devalued them so much, it’s more profitable to finish 4th bottom in the league than win one of these subbuteo trophies

They really aren't tin pot trophies, probably prefer league cup recent years as 2 legged semi and only final at Wembley is a lot more fun.

This has been diabolical, hard to pay attention lol

I mean one of them could come back to help, you can honestly say to me that you don’t think they could have done more?

I’m still for the cups myself, I get majority may not but I’ll never understand there logic a cup is still a trophy and end of a playing career that’s what you wanna look back on

Not a Harry Kane looking back at a man of the match shelf with nothing else

The issue has been the backline being unable to pass forwards. No I don't think Jota, Chiesa or Elliott could or should be dropping into the backline to take the ball. That's the job of McConnell but he doesn't look particularly good unfortunately.

Aye they're clearly not of the same prestige as a European cup or league title but winning them is absolutely class

5th and win a Cup or 4th and play regular Champions League?

Diaz has seen plenty of the ball, just been ******* atrocious with it, Cheisa has had it far less but just as awful

Cup!

I want to see my club win trophies, again if your always in champions league so winning “4th”

The club wins in getting money, as a player you win nothing as a fan you don’t see your club picking up trophies etc

Like I said I’ll never get the logic of others using the fourth arquement etc

I want my club to win things, best cup win we had was last season under Klopp when we won it mostly with the youth squad!

If I'm a team/club that realistically can compete in Europe (Liverpool) then CL football
If I'm a team/club that realistically does little in Europe (Arsenal) or won very little recently (Spurs) then absolutely 5th and cup win
