The Emirates FA Cup 4th Round ** Spoilers ** [7th - 11th February 2025]

Probably more a case of Slot misjudging Plymouth/expecting more from our squad.
I'm not sure it's a misjudgment, I think it was a conscious decision. The fact that Jones is still sat on the bench while Endo and Quansah have spent 98 minutes passing it to each other or lumping it forwards speaks volumes.

Wouldnt be surprised if some of these players dont get picked by Slot again after this match. Plymouth deserve the win, we deserve the loss. At least I guess we dont have to put up with quad talk now

Oof leave that and easy header for Quansah down and in

Absolute stinker from the majority not named Kelleher, Elliot doing himself no favours to even be considered a first sub in midfield now

Well done Plymouth, weirdly **** pitch but some effort

The way the commentary has gone on I'd have thought Plymouth were in div 2 and not the championship mind you

Not the only one either, a few of the more senior players did themselves no favours there in regards of their first team futures

Well that was horrendous. I can't remember too many easier Cup upsets than that. Typically the lower league side is under pressure all game and their keeper has a blinder but it took us 99 minutes to create a single chance (discounting the mix-up that lead to the McConnell shot). There was a stat at HT showing how Quansah and Endo individually had made more passes than the entire Plymouth side and that was our biggest problem. We couldn't get the ball into midfield all game and ended up just passing the ball from side to side along the back 4.

Probably will be in League 1 next year. They've conceded on average more than 2 goals a game.
