I think it's because he's doing his hand in again going back to the red ball. But he should have asked the umpire, who almost certainly would have said noHoly hell, that was a smack and a half!
In other news, Moeen Ali has been fined for being a dodgy *******.

Yeah pouncing on Ali, whose hand I think is properly cooked now.

Our bowlers are slow. Where is our crop of 25 year olds bowling at 90mph?
They must be hanging out with our crop of 25 years olds who can successfully bat against swing.

These Ozzie batsmen must be absolutely terrified of this barrage of 80mph long hops.
It's part of the plan. Lull them into a false sense of security then bomb an 83mph delivery in.
Oh and as the wicket starts to lend itself to spinners make sure you only have one fully fledged one who looks like he is injured.
