If Australia lose this I wonder if Cricket Australia will tell Clarke he's dropped as captain post series, and perhaps as a batsman considering age and injury, but let Clarke 'retire' after this Test to give Smith an earlier start to his captaincy. Clarke has been good for Australia but I think he's unlucky to have to follow Ponting as captain and inherit a team without Ponting, Warne, McGrath, Hayden, Gilchrist etc.

How long before the rumour mill starts that he's not actually injured, England saw this coming and decided to take it easier on the Aussies? ;)

Lol, someone edited the opening line of Broads wiki page a while back. It read 'Stuart Broad is a God who was sent to destroy all Australians sent before him' :D

Time to get lunch out of the way and get England scoring some runs. At this rate it looks like another weekend of golf is on the cards for the players.
 
Lyth needs to be careful here. I'm tired of watching him bat stupidly. You couldn't ask for a better situation as an opener. There's no pressure here whatsoever so he needs to not create any.

Exactly, i've no idea why they've still got him in the line-up. His performance is so bad he doesn't even deserve to be on the team.
