How quickly tides turn, SA was in 8th in test championship two months ago, and now leading with 2 games left. One win against Pakistan guarantees a spot in the final.
Good to see Stokes getting some of his mojo back, but I am not impressed with his whinge about the slow over rate points deduction. Their bowlers have the smallest bladders in sport. Most are off the fields at least twice per 2 hour session, my Nan needs the toilet less. Spectators are always short changed watching England test matches as they never see a 90 over day.

So 12-0 to Aussies and a whitewash on the cards unless england women have a miracle turnaround in the test match. Outplayed in all areas particularly fielding.
Men aren't fairing much better though it was a close on on Saturday due to bottom order batting. Butler is on fire, but there is no other batter standing up.

What were the England batters doing today?! Talk about throwing the game away with some of the most ridiculous shot selections going. Game was in the bag until they self destructed with some stupidly risky not needed play. Thats the series gone to India, bet they could n't believe their luck the way England imploded. Brooks did all the hard work then produced a moment of pure madness to cost the game.
Whilst they are playing against a very good team, England still look lost on how to attack with ball and in the field. Long phases of trying to bowl outside off stump when opposition need 5 an over. Complete waste of Archer's overs in middle phase ensure comfortable India win. Also shows how desperately England need a second attacking spinner, but still only have Rashid in the squad.
I don't think Butler should be skipper but I cant see who would take over. Livingstone and Brook still have not shown ruthlessness with the bat, so hard to make them captain.

What a player - still bowling stump to stump with just enough turn to keep both edges in play.
McCullum's plan coming together nicely. Lull opponents into thinking you are terrible before thumping them in the Champion's Trophy.
South Africa doing similar ploy by sending 2nd string squad to play warmups. Though now have a guy scoring 150 and 83 in his first 2 Odis, but not in the Champion's Trophy squad.

I think England will do well to get past the group stage in the Champions Trophy. There won't be any easy games in this tournament.
