I'd be tempted to bat for ages tomorrow, then declare a while before the close to have a go at them for part of the last session.
me too then put them in just before tea

yeah totally agree and i normally dont agree with sending one out. its only day one and dont want to think we have already won.

There's still 4 days left and we already have a 214 lead. I'd just bat on until all out tbh. We could end up 400-450 in front. Aus would need at least 650 to stand any chance. That's not going to happen.

Well have already won.
Why not send out someone who can bat?... Ali is now batting at 9 Ffs!
This DM article cracked me up. The tweets are brilliant, particularly the Nottinghamshire Police one. "We are receiving reports of Aussies in trouble" LMAO.

Saw the highlights of the Stokes catch last night - what a take! One Collingwood would have been proud of.
Anyone know what time day 2 starts? I never understand why they start so late in the day, it's been light since 8am!
11am I believe.
It's probably a historical thing I guess, but it also limits the amount of overs/time in the field so it doesn't get too ridiculous regarding the load on bowlers etc. Also if you had super long days as standard it may not be possible in every cricket location depending on the time of year.
