Z3 anyone?

Mazda mx5 mk1 1.6 g reg import. Am selling my mx5 with a z3 body conversion as spares or repairs as needs repairs doing. As you can see it's had a lot of time and effort spent on it. It's got a z3 body conversion on it consisting of front fibre glass flip up bonnet. Genuine bmw headlights, custom side skirts and wide rear arches. Also has a z3 rear end conversion consiting of a fibreglass boot and z3 style rear lights and a custom rear bumper. The car has also been lowered on lowering springs. The soft top is in good clean condition with minor wear. the car has covers 76'000 miles. But unfortunately has had some damage to the front as you can see by the pictures this was caused by a DHL van reversing into the front and scratching the side. The outside body work needs atention as you can see the front bumper has been cracked and has broken the side locking latches. There is a graze and scratch down the driver side as well. I have also take the exhaust system off and am selling separately as it's a full stainless. I'm selling this as spares or repairs due to the damage and because of the damage it's been written off. I have the log book and information on this. The car would make a ideal drift car or ideal project to repair. Inside the car also has lock wood dials as you can see from the pictures there is also a power filter fitted. How desperate would you have to be for a BMW badge? It's not like Z3s are unattainable or even any better to look at than an MX5, so I really am missing the point...

I hazard a guess that this was done a long time ago when Z3's were still valuable. If not then the guy is crazy!

It certainly is! There are other horrors about, but that's the one I passed almost daily.

I do like the new continental in yellow. But if I was to buy one, it would be selected in an Audi-esque 50 shades of dark grey.

That's actually brilliant!! Judging by the decal on the windscreen it's been done for some form of banger rally, and as the saying goes "if you're going in drag, don't sell yourself short". I would very very happily drive that on a charity event, bonus points if the propeller spins too!
