Cant wait for this to be over, i want GD back to 'normal'. I didn't quit the GPU forum to enter another form of the nvidia, amd arguments in the GD forum. Some posts are genuinely good but most of them are just rumour mill stuff, slanderous gossip and mighty crystal ball predictions.

Anyway

I am voting remain because Crossfire drivers are on the up and I have faith in the new AiO GPU dual card solutions that have hit the market.

XFire SUCKS!!
:mad::D

These two posts really sum up how depressingly divisive this referendum has become. It's not limited to this forum either; whenever something on Facebook comes up related to the referendum, one only has to look at the comments to see snarling, angry and insulting posts from people on both sides of the debate. Leavers shouting about Remainers being traitors, Remainers sneering at Leavers for being uneducated and racist. The whole campaign revolving around buzzwords and cheesy catchphrases. I walk past the Orpington Conservative Club every morning and there's a sign in the window addressing "Brexiteers". Utterly cringeworthy. And now, some genius has coined the pun "Bremaniacs", so you can't even engage in any sort of adult debate without these stupid little buzzwords and childish insults working their way into the conversation.

I'm frankly finding the whole thing a bit embarrassing. I was looking forward to Friday more because I was tired of the whole thing and couldn't wait for it to end, rather than any actual interest in the result. But I don't know about anyone else, but I get the uneasy feeling that whatever the outcome, we will end up a deeply divided nation and that actually worries me a little.

EDIT: After I typed that, I scrolled up and saw the below posts. Kind of sums up my unease :(

I completely agree with your post but I don't understand why you picked my post to quote. I don't think I'm accusing anyone or anything like that. Perhaps a bit arrogant post but not insulting imo.

Anyway I'm out of this thread, flying on holiday in the morning and won't be back for couple of weeks so thankfully I'll miss the fallout after the vote.

Enjoy the post result circus and be nice to each other. :)

All i'l remember from this debate is the mouthy cow who kept interrupting and the other one who kept laughing at everything like it was all a joke.

That was embarrassing to watch.

I dont understand how the woman from the Green party can keep a straight face. When asked about the UK coping with the increased population she just talled about the benefits of being able to go and work in the EU. I find it strange that the so called Green party is not concerned about an ever increasing population having a detrimental impact on our environment. What about the loss of green belt to build all the extra houses we will need, the effect on wildlife, increased pollution, increases in congestion, increased energy and water useage. You would think the Green party would want a sustainable population.

It is crazy that a woman from a party focusing almost entirely on a single objective does not understand the broader picture that may negatively affect her.

Anyway, back to Farage and his multi-level approach to the immigrants are bad campaign ;)

I swear, if this referendum is decided by Nvidia vs AMD, I'll riot.

Why, dont think brexit can benchmark high enough?

Driver overheads, brand optimisations, i've heard all the excuses!

If remain win, its because they have manage to output competitive GPU after GPU while keeping things competitive, all on a small RnD budget.

Could be worse....
